A lot of donkeys have shown interest in seeing the flop, so a smallball approach and limping behind would be an option too I guess. However I make a big raise here hoping to come 2- oder 3-handed to the flop.
Is iso-raising even the right expression here or does it only apply if not more than one donkey has limped before my raise?
Do you prefer limp or raise preflop?
In their nastiness, none of the inital limping donkeys wants to give up on their hands any time soon so we see the flop 4-handed. With the nut-flush-draw facing a 1/3 pot bet on the flop and a 1/4 pot bet on the turn plus probably quite decent implied odds, how could I ever fold here?
Was my biggest mistake to build a big pot preflop against such a huge pack of donkeys after all?
It just feels really unsatisfying since yet again a donkey took a huge amount of my precious chips right at the early phase.
