Finished third after taking an icm deal for 1.7k. Pretty happy with the way I played the final. Made one big error I think but I'm going to review it later. Pretty happy to know I'm still able to get some finals! Biggest score since my comeback in May last year!

Got second today in a 2$ bubble rush for 250$. Not really big money yet it was a 1000 player field so it's a noteworthy final table (no° 4 of the year).
On a sidenote, I'm brainstorming on what to do with my blog because as for now it's just me coming in and bragging about a FT that I played, which isn't really constructive. To be continued, no matter what.

Just finished 21st in Big 27. I'm going to review the whole thing but I think on a whole, it's one of the best tournaments I played in my life. Took the right spots, wasn't scared for a cheecky light 3bet, ... Ran some spots in Simple Nash already and all the spots I took were not even close, going to review some of the folds aswell (might have been little bit too tight but don't think so). If I come across anything interesting, I'll post it here.
After my 19th place finish of the Hot 11 earlier this week, these deepruns kinda hurt but I'm due a final table or 2 very soon right...

That said, there's something you said at the beginning of your first video that has brought my attention.
Namely, you said that you don't like playing deepstacked and prefer to register late when the starting stack is 50 bb.
Well, this has worked well for you thus far but it doesn't mean that you can't do even better.
I'm not an MTT reg but, looking at the whole picture of online poker, I assume that, specifically at Stars, starting with a deep stack is about the only way to get a big edge over recreationals in MTTs. I mean, Stars' third party software rules are very restrictive (in particular, players are opted out of results sites by default, and Hand2Note's dynamic HUD functionality is prohibited, as well population-tendency-based HUD stats and charts).
In the video, you complained about not having sufficient info on the opponents. The thing is that this lack of info is precisely the result of Stars' software rules. This isn't that bad because they yield a more favourable fish-to-reg ratio, but to take advantage of this ratio, given Stars' lack of rakeback, it's more or less imperative to play most of the Stars MTTs from their start, otherwise the huge variance of kilofields is going to eat your bankroll alive.
This is just IMO; I'm aware that there are great MTT players who can beat even non-featured Stars tourneys and even when they register late, but I think you're making your life way too complicated anyway by passing up on the additional edges that can be had, i.e. deepstacked play at Stars or more shortstacked but more robotic and less swingy grind in the small fields of other sites (I mean, I've noticed you mentioning Party's event The Jab, I just think you can add even more non-Stars action into the schedule).

Most of what you are saying is correct. As I said in the video, it is a personnal thing. You definately have the biggest edge when playing a tournament from the start. Reason why I don't is as simple as I stated in the video, I don't enjoy it that much (and fun and enjoyment are my main goals in poker :)). That and the reason that tournaments aren't won in the first couple of hours and playing 50bb still gives you loads of room to manouvre. It's also very dependent of the tournament. The bigger my edge is, the more likely I am to latereg it. I must also admit that the buy in of the tourney plays a bigger role. The top of my buy in range is usually being played from the start or close after.
You may have overestimated the value I give to having info on players. Obviously some decisions are player and read based but I usually play an amount of tables which is low enough for me keep track on the action. Me complaining not having too much info is mostly due to the fact that I played the tournament a couple of weeks ago and I simply don't remember every hand played.
Only sites I can play in my country are Stars, Partynetwork and Unibet, so I don't have too many options.

Hi guys, not much to report as I'm getting spanked left right and center at this point. I'm going for the study grind next week along with some work for Pokerstrategy. Going to start blogging more starting next week by setting myself goals to achieve concerning blogging. Also going to restart my bankroll challenge.
Hopefully all these things will turn my luck around in poker itself. Being focussed to much on playing and not enough on improving is a classic pitfall when things go smooth. Usually things start to go worse, you pick up the studying more again and before you know it, you're grinding finals again. So basically next week I'm going to play 2 MTT sessions max (depends on working hours) and I'm going to try and finish my first video series I'm creating for PokerStrategy. Those are the two main goals and I'm going to try and put in around 10 hours of studying next week. We'll see how it goes. I've got a boatload of video's in the pipeline to watch so lets get cracking!

Been quite silent in this blog for the last week and a half. I'm pretty swapped with other stuff that poker has to come second for a little while. I'll do my best to get the second part of my video series finalized next week but I'll really have to search for a spot to do so, but I'll try..
Haven't played alot myself either. Started a game or 5 in the last 1.5 week, played supersolid but was superunlucky. Got 10th in the Big 22 with 7k up top which was the biggest disapointment.
I'll be back full strength by the 1st of April at it's latest. I'll come by and peek every once in a while but no big sessions and coachings for me in the next 2 weeks. Until then, good luck at the tables!
