Normally I would raise to 2,5bb at this blind level but given I had already lost some chips, I wanted to keep the steal attempt as cheap as possible...

Situations like these disgust me a lot. I get so tilted when the donkeys make their disgusting minbets...

The donkey makes a 1/6 pot size donkbet on the flop. Well played, Sir. I have seen donkeys doing this with the (alleged) nuts so it could be possible that the mule has trips jacks. However, in the vast majority of all cases I believe it has a draw so I call. Normally, I would have raised, but given there was still another donkey in the hand that was not an option for me.

The turn blanks and the donkey min-bets again. How could I ever fold to this disgusting 1/8 pot bet..? It is abvious for me that I have the best hand here in more than 1 out of 8 times...

Should I have raised the turn given we were heads up after the other villain had folded otf? I mean, this donkey's play basically screams "I am weak". On the other hand, sometimes them dirty mules do like to play there monsters in such a way... Therefore I decided to just call for pot control...

On the river, the flush gets there and the donkey makes yet another min-bet. I would like to grab that donkey and shake it, ask it what is wrong in its brain... The donkey bets 60 into 600. Excellent play, Sir! I make a crying call, hoping my opponent is an ape that just randomly clicks bet bet bet without any thinking process going on... I only have to be good here in 1 out of 10 times although I am not sure that this will be the case... But how could you fold to a 1/10 river bet and let this stupid donkey get away with this horrible play without even showing its hand?

After all I lost 300 chips in that pot and dropped under 1000 in total... That experience was very tilting and disgusting. The donkey extracted the maximum out of me with the line it took. Well played Sir.

Could I have played this hand any better at some street?

Cheers.

this could be a leak. So what you are actually doing is making your steals easier to defend when you are more scared of losing... Looks like trouble imo.

Fold flop. You have like zero equity in this hand... and the action is still not closed. I would at least need some backdoor to continue here.

Do you really think that my fold equity against a donkey is dependent on whether or not I bet 30 chips more or 30 chips less? If a donkey wants to call it calls, I suppose it will never care about 30 chips... Regs cannot exploit this raise size because I also do it with my value range, having 14-20 BB...

Fold flop although it is quite obvious that the donkey who mindonks has a worse hand in way more than one out of six times? Had it made decently sized bet of around 180, I would have snap folded of course...

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your input and don't want to appear stubborn or unteachable, I am just wondering why I should fold the flop to a 1/6 pot bet against a bettor who does not have a better hand in 5/6 cases...

It’s a weird line the villain is taken here, but indeed he can have some draws and his bet sizing make not much sense. I would most likely call him down as well, but the river is a card that hit his range perfectly.

No offence taken. I'm just giving my opinion and view and am certainly not (can not always be) right all the time. Happy to see that answers or suggestions are challenged/thought out. Makes it better for the people who are commenting too.

What I am basically trying to point out here is the difference between GTO (game theory optimal) and exploitable poker. From a GTO standpoint we should never fold to such a small bet of course, simply because of pot odds. Folding too often to such a bet makes us very very exploitable for thinking players, wheras they get to "buy the pot" so cheaply. If we let them get away with this too much, we open ourself to a very profitable (mindonk)stab situation. Not very happy off course.

But here is why I still suggest to fold flop:
- it is still somewhat early in the tournament. So chips we lose are much more valueable then those we gain.
- the action doesn't close when we act
- this hand could cost us more on further streets. What are we really hoping for? An ace? A two? Don't think I'm happy calling off anymore.
- we would like to have some backdoor possibility to continue here imo, to improve on further streets.
- there will (for sure) be better - and therefore easier/more +EV - spots later on.
