How much rake to clear bonuses

Hi Jazbenz,

After checking at webpage at 888 i could find this,

Cash Bonus Prize:
Cash bonuses awarded during the Promotion may be withdrawn only after a player has accumulated 3.5 Bonus Points for every $1 of the received bonus amount..

After looking what bonus points is i found this,

How to earn Bonus Points (BPs)
Bonus Points (BP) enable you to clear any bonuses by wagering. BPs are accumulated only if you have an active bonus.

You can earn BPs by:

Playing in poker ring games -earn 2 BPs (if applicable) for every $1 of your contributed rake.*
Playing poker tournaments -earn 2 BPs (if applicable) for every $1 of tournament fee.
Playing casino games (from your poker account) -earn 1 BP (if applicable) for every $10 wagered in the casino.

So I went to chat with 888 support to ask if the bonuses are being reset once you receive a new one, but unfortunately the person was unable to help me. They could not tell me how much rake I had to clear, they only adviced me to play video slots (wtf?).

This was their solution:

"Overall you have 70 bonus in your account and the total amount you have left to wager is $1456.19"

That's not even the amount of my bankroll, so I have no idea what this even applies to. Maybe the stupid video slots... no idea.

LOL - as if Id have to generate that amount of rake to clear a $70 bonus. Does anyone know how bonuses work? She also told me 76 "points" more to collect to clear the $50 bonus. What points, what rake does that equal? Theyre certainly not the points of their rewards program cuz 76 points on that is basically 76 cents of rake.

Anyway, help :/

Thanks this is very helpful, from here I can calculate the rake I need to generate.

So $70 bonus to clear $1 * 70 * 3.5 = 245 Bonus points required

2 Bonus points for $1 generated rake = 245 BP/2BP = $122.50 rake to clear $70 /yay !:f_thumbsup: THANKS

It would be much easier if 888 could patch the software to track active bonuses.

LOL as usual the bonuses look good to a newby but in reality they havnt actually given you anything.

I appreciate bonuses, it's additional rakeback and quick to clear playing cash games, which I primarily do anyway. I just wish they were easier to track like on other sites.

Something strange is going on with those bonuses. I currently have 6 active bonuses with an overall value of $105 - I just checked the Restricted amount after playing today and now the amount has once again risen and now it's $109 - how is this possible??(

I just checked again, and the amount that was added to the restricted amount, is exactly what I just won in the previous session. Why would that be added to the restricted amount? Could the 888rep shed some light in this?
