500 Days To Beat NL100 Zoom Or Quit Poker - 400 Days To Go Summary

Results For The Day

(Games played = NL4 Fast, NL10 Zoom)

First session I played in the morning so games were a bit dead but was action at NL4 Fast plus I wanted to work on something so played there for a while.

In the evening there were still only 50 players in the NL10 Fast pool so I decided to play at Stars NL10 Zoom instead.

Session was great fun as I felt in control all the time for a change! I lost 100bb KK v AA all-in pre (standard obv) but maintained good mindset throughout.

Pregame routine and mindset work is paying off maybe???

Notes
Meditated 5 mins
Push Ups Day 164 done

399 days to go...

hey can you post the graph for the first 100 days ?

Also it looks that you're really struggling in cash, maybe invest 100-200$ into coaching for like 3-4h, maybe it will help you out in end ?

Results For The Day

(Games played =NL10 & NL5 Fast)

Had an EV adjusted win I guess! ;)

Lost 10 bucks KK < AK all in pre and won 5 bucks with set in 3b pot versus flopped 2nd pair WTF!? :)

Was just one of those sessions where my squeezes and 3b bluffs didn't get through.

Overall very happy with my play, was pretty card dead.

Got my 5th grade Wing Chun last night too and started the Fighting Programme "Anti Ground Work". My body was lolling at me a lot!!! ;)

I think I need to win 10 bucks tonight to have positive February...

Hi there! Yh, will definitely post the graph, good idea, will get after work tonight (I know I am around -$50 overall which includes around $90 in RB).

I have got a coach - I just don't listen to him :f_ugly:

That's a joke, he is my God :f_love:

I see it's already getting better, glad to hear it =)

Congratulations for your Wing Chun grade ! _drink:

I should maybe call you "Master Pea Man" ;)

Edit after having seen you monthly summary on your blog :
Your BU winrate doesn't seem a lot higher than other positions (and it should be, mine is exploding and I don't see myself as a BU player that much), and your BB winrate is potentially a huge problem !
Hard to tell for that small of a sample though but there seem to be things to work out there, don't you think ?

Thanks for congrats mate.
Yh lots is improving but I still struggle with bet sizing and not playing like a robot.
BB win rate seems to be improving massively this month, made quite some changes (and in February I was getting exploited huge).
My win rates for UTG through to BTN all seem very low so far this month but I do still make tonnes of errors.
Back to work... Thx again.

Hi guys,

Today I am determined to finish my challenge to lose 25 pounds (11.4kg).

It is 1 year and 3 days since I was 14st 7lbs (92.1kg) and set my target of 12st 10lbs (80.7kg).

I need to lose 1.5 pounds TODAY to finish this thing off. I am desperate to do it so I can move on to more strength work AND use the cardio time for something else. EDIT: After the weigh in seems I need to lose 2 pounds (0.9kg) today!!!

The Final Push - Introduction and Weigh In

You can follow updates on my Twitter and my Facebook also - I will be on until it is DONE!!!.

Likes, shares, support, love please amigos! ;)

I did it amigos!!!

It took me 8 lots of 10 minute skips today to lose the last 2 pounds but I got there in the end.

Last skip and weigh was funny. Frustrating but funny (now)!

See it here...

Now it is my Zoom Challenge and my 100 Push Up Challenge only. I think... ;)

Congrats but I hope you didn't torture yourself too much to the finishing line. Better to go slow and not gaining that weigh back soon after ! But I put my trust on you for that _drink:

Hey man,

I'm also busy with my weight and stuff. I heard from guys at the gym that it is best to just weigh when you wake up after going to the toilet first, being totally sober. When do you weigh mostly?

Haha! Thank you!

I have been told this many times but only by non English people I think!!!

I am from right in the very middle of England.

Define "quite thin"!? For sure I was not "massive" before.

Maybe this comparison of now and one year ago helps...

(I have got side on somewhere but not at work - they look worse ;) ).

Well, all you really want is a "constant" so you can make fair comparisons.

So first thing in the morning is the best for that I guess.

I weigh myself every Thursday morning at 0545hrs. And yes, I guess I always do piddle first but that is because LDO desperate more than anything!!! :f_thumbsup:

EatyourPeas, you´re THIN at the picture on the right. Be careful: at our age we look older when we get too thin (I´m only 4 years younger than you, so in my forties as well :f_biggrin:)
