Yes, Floxy, I think I will take my HANDS OFF salad buffets.

This already happened to me twice. I love salad buffets but it happened to me that I felt horribly nauseous after eating salad from buffets. Of course: The salad stands there around during the whole day, even though it is cooled, bacteria and whatever can grow in there, besides a lot of people are taking salad, touching this or that, some of those ppl may be infected with whatever and boom! Here we go! and after the nausea comes the belly ache!

Feel better today, still nauseous, weak and tired but I can work! ♠_thumbsup: Slowly, carefully but I can do some work ♠_thumbsup:

Let´s see how I will feel in the evening. I will do study work anyway but not sure I´ll be able to grind but anyways, there are cool freerolls at 888 and those I will play for sure!

Mini grinding

I feel better now, the nausea is almost gone so I decided to do a little grinding session. Played SnGs on 888 and on Party and after a long long long time I made winnings! Can´t believe it. A miracle. I got those two cards with an A on each, I think they are called pocket aces right? :f_ugly::f_ugly: At least I could see cards with "A" and "K" on it. The one with the "K" is a king I guess, long time not seen such cards with people on it and letters like A, K, Q and J, wow! :f_ugly::f_ugly:

It did so good to make a little plus again, I was really desperate and it was not easy to motivate myself for poker and I hope I made it through now and everything will go normal.

That why you should play Omaha! Twice as many cards - more A and K in your hand!

Brief health update: lying sick in bed. Felt better yesterday so I went for a nice swim. Was a bit too early and I made everything worse....well done, Prim. Good job.

Will recover properly and grinding will continue soon. Maybe I play some freerolls today....

In holdem you get AA once in over 200 hands. In omaha you get it once in 40 hands. FIVE times more!

Yes I will play also PLO, there are very good freerolls on 888 to get into it. Looking forward to grind again, feeling much better today so I will do a little grinding session.

But in hold'em when you get AA it's holding more than 80% of the time (yes yes it does Prim, I promise ) versus one opponent, whereas in PLO when you get AAxx...

I hope one day my hands will hold again, haha! Well, at least they start holding ....slowly. Played on 888 and on Party and actually, to be honest: I like Party more. Villains know where their fold-button is while at 888 the 1 USD SnGs are at the level of Playmoney-Poker. ♠_cry: You raise pf with AA or KK and at least 3 Villains call. On the river someone finds his str8 with 54o or so. Oh my goodness! I don´t know if I (or rather: my nerves) can do this. Well, I have to, but I won´t put my whole BR there! NO WAY.

Half on 888, half on Party, where I enjoy at least a LITTLE fold equity and I can play at least a little bit REAL poker. I´d play rather 10 DONs more than THOSE donkeys!

At least you know why it's different. Now it's time to find a recipe! Myself struggled a lot with switching poker rooms and then to get in tune again. How is this for you as a SNG player? Easy because you already have to adjust to different blind levels or do you give up a little value?

Don't forget to add the filter Hand Details -> Player is Hero and click on 'NOT' Selected (resulting in the filter NOT (Player is Hero)) in order to exclude yourself from the report.

Stronger hands will appear in opponents' ranges more often than weaker ones. Yes I knew it but I didn´t expect SUCH donkeys :f_ugly::f_ugly: I haven´t seen those since 2007 when I started playing poker with playmoney.

But let´s come to my report which looks ugly so far:

PartyPoker looks a bit better (still playing there)

At Party I´m running more or less break even at the moment; I bought 2x 1.10€ tournament tickets for points (rakeback), played DON and won, unfortunately that´s not shown here in the graph (PT4 didn´t count it).

Results: - 4 USD
BR: 239 USD

Not so bad anymore...... but still tons of trash hands, running into better hands, suckouts and stuff and of course -EV decisions.

And a mental progress

Could prevent the tilt by just following strictly my gameplan and telling myself in every situation what to do according to my gameplan. Also I get a much better understanding of the nature of the game by practicing with SnG Coach in ICMizer every day an the pretty pretty charts I make. And of course: YOU GUYS!!! Who encourage me! THANK YOU!!!

I decided to make Monday to my study-day. So today after work I won´t grind, Monday is fixed for study. ♠_thumbsup: I fixed Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for study. Wednesday and Thursday is study and grind day, Monday only study.

Rhodriguez, not easy at all. First you have to get used to a different layout and second to different Villains and formats. At PartyPoker for example there are donkeys but nitty ones. So I can play more aggressively and win pots preflop and so reduce a bit the variance. In contrast: 888 is full of "calling stations" :f_ugly:. At Party I could do the "classical" ICM-pushes/calls while on 888 I have to figure out my ranges against those who even don´t know the hand rankings in Holdem/PLO.

In PLO there are a lot of donkeys on both rooms.

DON with FGS

Who says you get drowsy by playing DONs? Playing them according to FGS is big fun! No time to go to sleep then! Played a little DON 6-max turbo session today and I have some good news and some bad news.

Let´s tell the good news first: I improved! I practice every day with ICMizer either DON or SnG 9-max, further I analyze now every session! So did I with todays session and I get a lot of hands right, not many -EV decisions but when then HUGE ones, oh,boy! Found leaks on which I have to work!

As for the bad news: Still not running so well (but at least a little bit better), pushing quite frequently in better hands (AQ into AA, cooler: set TTT vs set JJJ, pushing from SB into a monster from BB like KK, AA, QQ, AKs).

Had again a little negative session but not so much: 3 BI down, had already much worse sessions ♠_biggrin:

It´s anyway a good time to do more study work, because otherwise I will never improve. Until the weekend I will grind just small sessions but do much more study!

Applying FGS to some of the non-DON formats is even more fun
