I recently found myself in a weird spot playing live £1/£1 cash no limit yesterday . Was hoping for an insight if you could ever find a fold.
Hero £300
Villan £350
Hero is UTG with K♥: K♦: raises to £4
Folds to CO, who re raised to £14, who had played pretty tight so far and 3 bet very rarely
Folds back to Hero, Hero Calls. (Before anyone says; Yes, I agree with you, I should have re raised preflop , but I decided to slow play which I know is a bad idea with KK out of position)
Flop: A♦: 4♠: 5♠:
Hero checks, villain checks
Turn: T♣:
Hero bets £18, villain calls
River: K♣:
Hero checks, villain bets £26
Hero raises to £62, villain tanks for about 2 minutes before moving all in
Would he have checked AA OTF and just called OTT ? Or is it likely he turned
into a bluff, trying to get me off AQ/AJ, or could he just be value betting QJ ?
Given this weird line taken, what hands would you call with? I was thinking only AA, KK, AK with no spade, to block both sets and allow villain to have a missed flush draw
Spoiler
Villain shows Q♠:J♠: if you hadn't already guessed as I sigh called
Many thanks
