I am interested in opinions about this hand, should I be checking the turn here, is river a tight spot or clear fold/call?

First if you raise a limper you should do it bigger than 3 BB
Second you cant bet half pot on that turn.

I believe the turn is a bet-fold situation where you should bet around 3/4

I agree, you should have raised a bit more preflop and bet more on the turn. That said, I am probably check/calling the river. Villain looks fishy and highly aggressive (as seen from his very high PFR and preflop 3Bet stats), so I think he might bluff a lot OTR. It is highly unlikely that he had a heart FD and hit OTR. I would say a lot of the time you are facing a busted club FD, complete air or some kind of hand with a Jack like QJo. I know the board looks scary, but given that Villain has almost 55 VPIP over almost 700 hands, he could have all kinds of crap here. If you decide to call next time, don't forget to take a note on what hand Villain played like this.

Why? We only know he is very loose preflop and likes to 3bet. He could be calling down too lightly which means we should actually bet fold?

If we don't know his postflop tendencies, I'm not sure we can be check calling here? He limp called pre so he can have pretty much anything. There are a lot of better hands possible.

The preflop raise could be something like 10 bb. I'm pretty sure UTG and no-one else except perhaps the button will call. (The others will reraise or fold, which is what you want). This makes it easier to play because you'd drop an a-bomb instead of 7 bb on the flop.

That turn bet is just badly sized. A bunch of perfectly reasonable hands just made a pair or two pair. If you bet, bet bigger and let it be your last bet. (Don't check and call any big bets.)

As played I'd fold river. Board and pot odds rule over stats, and nowhere does the stats indicate that this villain is bad postflop.

Isn't this a bit much in my experience even maniacs fold to such overraises preflop? I feel 5-6BB would be more suitable.

The UTG is not a maniac, he's a fish. 5-6 bb would be good against decent players (yes, it is possible to limp-call from UTG, especially in full-ring with passive players, though it is not something that is very popular these days and I don't play that way), and these do not limp 50%+. Maybe 8 bb would be better than 10 bb, it depends on exactly how fishy UTG is. At any rate, smaller than 5 bb invites to trouble.

At least from my experience (NL5 and NL10), very high PFR and 3Bet preflop stats (and almost 14 over 700 is really high) tend to be correlated to Villain running more bluffs, especially OTR. Bet/folding OTR is a viable option, but I would be afraid Villain may fold here a lot of the time, by check/calling, we may induce some bluffing mistakes from him OTR and get more money out of him.

Plus, if you bet, say, what he bet (2/3 pot OTR) and get raised, unless you have some crazy read, you are folding most of the time. If he folds and you don't give him a chance to bluff, you just lost some value from worse hands. I really like the check/call here, unless he massively overbets or shoves.

We bet/fold vs passive villains. Vs more aggressive - we xc.

Yes I know we should bet/fold vs passive and we could check/call vs more aggressive guys, but is he that aggressive though?
We don't have any postflop stats. Only thing we know is that he 3bets a lot. But when we consider that he plays 55% of his hands, maybe that 13% 3bet is not that aggressive? It is just loose.

I think that if we don't have a clear read OR if this guy could be more on the passive side postflop and we decide to check the river, it is closer to check fold than check call. I'm just saying that trying to induce bluffs and then catch them might be a leak if we do it just based on villains 3bet stat.

Yohan said it pretty well:

Board and pot odds rule over stats, and nowhere does the stats indicate that this villain is bad postflop.

I dont know if this could be the case, but when you are agaisnt a constant limper, you have to try bigger sizes when your best hands. The optimal size is 1/3 of his stack, because if he call he ll end up with 2/3 and his 1/3 with your 1/3 leaves a pot of 2/3 and you can bet pot on the flop stacking him allin

you really have to isoraise bigger. 4BB ist standard, i guess vs a 50+ fish would raise 4,5 bb
