Hi there,

before signing up I remember reading somewhere on here that you will get silver status automatically after making a deposit on partypoker of at least 10€.

Is this correct? I cannot find the place where I read it anymore. If this is correct how long do I have to wait until my status gets updated?

Thanks for answering in advance!:f_drink:

Hello Arziak,

This is correct you will receive 500 strategy points when you sign up for party poker and make your first deposit. The strategy points can take a couple of days to show up. You can find out more information about your tracked rooms here.

You can also find more information on status points here

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck at the tables.

My Regards

Matt

Hi Matt,

wonderful thanks for your answer. Wow 500 points that means I will actually get gold status this month. Looking forward reading those articles.

The points have not arrived yet so I will wait a couple more days they will hopefully show up then.

Thanks,
Philip

PS: Nice blog I have been reading through it a bit yesterday. Good luck at the tables and with winning those tickets.

Hello Philip,

Thanks for dropping by my blog. :f_thumbsup:
Keep me up to date on the points if you have any problems.

What games and limits do you play? We should be able to link you to some strategy and/or videos specific to what you play. :f_thumbsup:

Have a good weekend.

Regards

Matt

Hi Matt,

as I am just starting out learning the very basiscs I am playing FR NL2 on partypoker.

It is very slow but it gives me time to read strategy articles by the side and reflect on hands.

I have been thinking about playing 2 tables or 6player tables and in some time I think I will try both.

So far it is going well. I feel like I am learning and improving and I went from 10 to 15€ in 5 days.

Is there anything I should do differently?

Have a nice (easter) weekend as well,
Philip

FR NL2 is a great place to start out. I remember starting out on those limits a few years ago. :f_thumbsup:

After reading a few of your posts, I certainly see you are on the right path :f_thumbsup:
You seem to be making +EV decisions and approaching your game at the right pace.

Our coach LemOn36 has a couple of great video series for beginners: No-Limit Starter course and after that a bit more advanced Beyond The First Strategy.

Another good place to have a look at is https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=325001

And finally an article from 2015 worth reading. 5-point plan: From break-even grinder to winning player may be of interest to you.
