The AA hand, did you have reads to call his river bet there? Basically any two broadway cards outdrew the hell out of you, and I would find a fold there, easily.
*edit* The first AA hand, actually, with all those broadway cards I wouldn't even call turn.
(I'm also on 2nl f-ing around with not much of a game plan)
Well basically the thing is
Why would he bet his midpairs on the flop?
Especially unless he has precisely KQ QJ he shouldn't have any queens, and a very few jacks here
So the river card's actually really good for us as now he can have a lot less KQ QJ
And either has a boat
Is over-valuing a KX (that's common at NL2)
or has complete airball
So I think against an unknown at NL2 on that river call we actually do have a call
