SB: $4.50 (112.5 bb)
BB: $6.51 (162.8 bb)
UTG: $5 (125 bb)
MP: $8.68 (217 bb) (18/11/ 230 hands)
CO: $4.90 (122.5 bb) (53/16/ 45 hands)
Hero (BTN): $10.28 (257 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with T♥: 9♥:
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.15, CO calls $0.15, Hero calls $0.15, SB folds, BB calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.62) T♣: 6♣: 9♦: (4 players)
BB checks, MP bets $0.40, CO calls $0.40, Hero raises to $1.59, BB folds, MP raises to $4.34, Hero?

Preflop I elect to call rather than squeeze because the CO seems to be a calling station fish type and I am in position

On the flop I find it hard to only call because there are so many draws out there.

When MP 3bets I don't think this is ever a bluff. So if get it all in, at best I am up against a strong draw or an overplayed frustrated overpair.

So if I give him the range:
QQ+,TT-99,66,T9s,87s
I still have 52% equity

If I include strong draws
QQ+,TT-99,66,T9s,87s,AcKc,AcQc,AcJc,QcJc
I have 53% equity

so should I 4betAI here ?

The problem is his stats indicate the guy is not likely to do that with a draw, on the other hand it narrows to sixes in terms of hands that beat you, the board is drawy, he might have had an overpair and tried to make draws pay (being both deep I would let him take an initiative and just call with intention to call it down)

Calling this down means you need to call the all-inn on the turn, because the MP2 has invested already more than 50% of his remaining stack with his 3bet. If you are raising the flop I think you need to go for it and with blocking 2 sets it’s less likely he has you beat and even against 66 you can still hit a better full house.

You should remove QQ+. Add KcQc and KcJc.
You should probably still stack-off but its safe to say you are not above 50% against his range.

I think we will clearly get the money in with this hand, we can't fold the Flop 3bet and if we call, we have to call the Turn. Since it's not that likelly that MP has a draw, I think we can call the Flop and call the Turn. If we shove the Flop, he could maybe fold overpairs sometimes (not that likelly, though). So shoving and calling are both fine imo.

Agree with Alleen86 here. I think both could be argued and it depends heavily. I personally favor here raising for value because of top 2p.

I think it is a clear fold. That flop is about as wet it gets in a multiway single-raised pot, with made nut hands to go along with draws. Drawing hands have little interest in ever raising here, especially since you raised, indicating a made hand.

Most people argue that losing a stack (100 bb) HU holding TPTK is always questionable. Well, if so, then losing 217 bb with top two 4-ways on this board is more than questionable.

I agree. I ended up folding btw. Would you have played raise/fold as well ? or just flat the flop ?

Both plays may work, but if you raise, you don't do it for value. You do it to get some questionable draws out (BB and CO seem weak). The risk that there's a value hand out there that beats us is too much risk for me personally to want to raise against draws. You aren't going to win much on average in a spot like this. (But folding is more than a bit wimpy:f_biggrin:)
