I think the 3 bet should be higher at 600. I would have folded, but think if you are for playing it 3 bet is best.

I actually though he was trying to get a flush cheaply. If you flop raise was to try and push him off this it needed to be bigger. I think you were right to raise it like this so he knows he wont get cheap cards but your not committing yourself.

It was an iso-raise instead of 3bet, isn't it? Ok for iso-raise. Size was ok!.

If I don't know a player I prefer to put in a range wide range with A2+, K2+, Q5+, etc,. and the villain donkbet shows some power and I would fold. I don't see why don't play fit or fold in this case.

This is indeed a standard iso-raise. A 3bet is when someone is raising in front of you and you will re-raise here. If that would happen here you should be in a push or fold situation with the 20bb that we have here.

The flop raise seems optimistic against most likely a fish that never will fold on a raise and we have only 3 clean outs for a straight. I would still call the 1bb bet to try to hit the straight as cheap as possible with the odds we get.

As played the shove is standard against a fish. If he has a busted draw he will fold on any raise and if he has an ace he most likely can’t fold it.

Appreciate the reply, the reason I went for the raise on the flop as I've been following a guide by Asaban about raising min-raisers if we PF aggressor. I definitely see your point getting like 10:1 on a call on our Gutty

Min bet looks weak for sure on the flop, but if he can’t fold draws and Ax hands it’s a waste of chips to raise the flop with the few outs we have as backup to win the hand at showdown. Representing a big hand against someone that don’t know the concept of this makes it tough to bluff against.

These mini donk bets drives me crazy!!

It’s annoying for sure, but tilting because of this cost you a lot of money most of the time.
