Once you get check-raised on the flop after that preflop action, you are pretty much dead holding JJ. He might hold a flush draw, but it is just a small part of his range. The rest are sets and overpairs. Easy fold OTF.

When he has a FD w/ a pair, FD+gutshot, FD + Overcard we are marginally ahead. When we are behind two pairs, sets and overpair we are almost dead. We only hope for KT, AT and a random bare FD like 8c3c.

In live play though we can not really think that clearly when holding an overpair with really low SPR vs a gambler. Folding in that spot is hard only for meta game reasons.

To me, this is also a fold. Not much you beat apart from the FD as above stated.

Hi
I would adjust my play based on:
-Hand history
-Reads
-Image
we need to know game flow and meta game implication if there are any, in order to choose the best line.
Can you provide more details?
There are times when this play can be right, but without the information, I stated above this is an ambitious play.
Andrew
