Stacks:
UTG Hero ($38.12) 152bb
UTG+1 Player5 ($69.49) 278bb
CO Player6 ($27.08) 108bb
BTN Player1 ($19.45) 78bb
SB Player2 ($41.59) 166bb
BB Player3 ($30.72) 123bb

Pre-Flop: (0.35, 6 players) Hero is UTG Q♦: Q♣:
Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, Player1 calls $0.75, 1 fold, Player3 calls $0.50
Flop: T♦: 7♦: 7♠: ($2.35, 3 players)

Player3 checks, Hero bets $1.80, Player1 calls $1.80, Player3 raises to $6,
Hero ?

What is the best play here?
A fold seems pretty weak to me. If I raise here only better hands will call me as far as I can tell? Of is this a push because of the draws? Flush + straight draws
A call is the only plausible scenario I guess?
But what do you do on the turn for example if a brick card comes and he bets again... I guess we have an elastic hand here and call or fold depending on his bet size.
Not sure if my thought process is ok here...

Hi KittBizi
You can lean towards folding in this situation unless you have strong reads that he is playing out of line.
BB’s range is very strong in this spot,
Equity Win Tie
BB 63.44% 63.44% 0.00% TT, 77, A7s, K7s, Q7s, J7s, T7s+, 97s, 87s, 76s, AdQd, AsQs, KdQd, KdJd, QdJd, Kd9d, Qd9d, Jd9d, Kd8d, Qd8d, Jd8d, 9d8d, Ad6d, Kd6d, Qd6d, Ad5d, Kd5d, Qd5d, Ad4d, Kd4d, Qd4d, Ad3d, Kd3d, Ad2d, Kd2d, A7o
Hero 36.56% 36.56% 0.00% QdQs
As you can see his range is way ahead of QQ.
He has much more value hands than flush draws.
I would recommend folding qq and call with kk AA+
If you have a read that he likes raising flop and gives up turns on blanks than you can call - but you need specific reads to choose the proper play

I totally disagree with AndrewDee123!

BB 63.44% 63.44% 0.00% TT, 77, A7s, K7s, Q7s, J7s, T7s+, 97s, 87s, 76s, AdQd, AsQs, KdQd, KdJd, QdJd, Kd9d, Qd9d, Jd9d, Kd8d, Qd8d, Jd8d, 9d8d, Ad6d, Kd6d, Qd6d, Ad5d, Kd5d, Qd5d, Ad4d, Kd4d, Qd4d, Ad3d, Kd3d, Ad2d, Kd2d, A7o
Hero 36.56% 36.56% 0.00% QdQs

Really ??? Does anyone call an UTG raise with J7s, Kd9d, Qd9d, Jd9d, Kd8d, Qd8d, Jd8d, Qd6d, Ad5d, Kd5d, Qd5d, Ad4d, Kd4d, Qd4d, Ad3d, Kd3d, Ad2d, Kd2d, A7o ?
As for the hand KittBizi i don't think that play suggests any straight draws. You might have to worry for a flush draw but not from player 3. He would never make such a large raise on a draw because he decreases his odds. Player 3 is representing a big overpair(a.k.a AA or KK) , a set of tens or maybe if he is loose a 7(maybe 78). If he had AA or KK he would most certanly reraise you preflop, so the only real possibilitties are the set of tens or the 7.
For me it is a tough spot but don't call there as for sure on the turn player3 is gonna make a huge bet whatever comes. Either raise to get rid of player2 and be prepared to go to the end or fold.
Good luck!

Hi GleDi713

you are right, vs UTG bb will call with a tighter range
I framed my response more vs co+bu
so vsBB we are still going to be behind with QQ, we are going to have better hands to continue with
BB 54.68% 54.68% 0.00% TT, 77, A7s, K7s, T8s+, 87s, AdQd, AsQs, KdQd, KdJd, QdJd, Kd9d, Qd9d, Jd9d, Kd8d, 9d8d
UTG 45.32% 45.32% 0.00% QdQc

Thnaks for the reply Andrew!
I still consider that range loose for this play, especially those A7s, K7, Kd9d, Qd9d, Jd9d, Kd8ds I consider unplayable. However, I think you are being very general and considering only preflop play, and not taking into consideration information from his big check/raise in the flop. Would he blow away action like that with quad 7. Only the ten would stand there to be hit so most likely no other hit that flop. So he would have the absolute nuts and take it more slowly. 99% of the time 77 just calls there to keep both players in the hand. So take 77 away from his range together with some mentioned above and I think it will get extremely close. However the problem is player2 who is yet to act, so I also tend to fold here.

You guys are looking at the hand a bit wrong. If BB is x/raising all those hands, he'd be x/raising 20%+. In practice he can easily just call those hands because he's getting better odds via the other player also calling. So i'd say his x/r range is even stronger weighted towards 7x.

Interesting hand and interesting discussion.
Initially i thought a call would be way to go.
I did my own assessment and gave Villain this range (8d9d,7dAd, 7d6d, AdKd). I find this reasonable.
Its a coinflip situation like that if we put flushes in his range that we have to.
I think we have to call as it is a locked down board. Player 3 either has a 7 or hes on the flush.
Player 1 probably doesnt have a big hand but he might come along for the ride.

It might seem like a tight fold but vs the range he's repping it isn't so bad.
I doubt he's raising a FD / SD, and even if he is it's still a coinflip. Just let it go.
