Background:
Villain is a very aggressive 'reg' who loves to 3b wide in position.
32/28, 172 hands. 3b 19.4% (15.8% from BU). A few hands earlier he 3b me in same positions with A♦:Q♦:9♥:3♥: I called with KK. He bet the nutflush draw on the flop when checked to and after I called, checked down unimproved.
1. How is our hand choice for a 4b against such a player?
2. Flop is genuinely difficult for me. We have the nuts but I feel that our range often hates this board and so a committing cbet basically tells our opponent we have at least the nfblocker if not a big flush. Is it reasonable of me to check such a hand? If checking is too suspicious, what amount should we bet? What should we bet with nf blocker? Let's say I have the same hand in
and
- Should we cbet here and if so, how much?
3. When he checks back flop I'm not sure what we should do on the turn. Clearly we need to bet, but again, looking at it, potting doesn't seem optimal to me.
Thoughts?
