Hero (SB): $25.01 (100 bb)
BB: $55.15 (220.6 bb)
MP: $28.59 (114.4 bb)
CO: $71.55 (286.2 bb)
BTN: $22.75 (91 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K♠: T♥: K♣: 8♥:
MP folds, CO raises to $0.85, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.75, BB calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.55) 8♦: T♠: T♣: (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $1.21, Hero raises to $3.63, BB calls $3.63, CO folds

Turn: ($11.02) Q♣: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

River: ($11.02) 6♦: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.45, BB raises to $20.82, Hero folds

Pre flop: call but not sure if worth 3 betting knowing we will be out of position to any caller and not suited to any K.

Flop: I think leading looks very strong and folds out anything that isn't a T or a wrap. also player on button was betting almost everything checked to him. So I went for the check raise. we still only get called by the same hands that call a donk but with more in the pot.

Turn: BB has called my raise of the button so safe to say he has a T and likely with cards higher than an 8. Q comes and I plan to xc. he checks back. Anyone in favour of a bet here ?

River: with his check back I feel he will check again with hands like ATxx or even 88 so I go for a small bet. he raises pot and I only beat a bluff which I really don't think he has unless he feels me checking the turn and betting small on the river is very weak. but even then straights are out there for him to have and if he thinks I'm bluffing he will only call. To me this has to be QT or something like QQKJ/QQJ9. any thoughts ?

I would bet turn to get value from Tx that is anything else than QT. You gave no reads but if he is a recreational player he might have hard time folding trips that are even drawing dead because hey, trips! No need to bet big of course.

River is really weird. Why would he check-back QT ott instead of value and protection against AT/KT?

He also most probably has a T here, and when you check turn / bet river small maybe he is capable of turning that into a bluff, now that even straights beat bare trips. Or maybe he is a rec that overplays T6?

But recs have weird lines with nuts, so unless better reads folding seems standard when his flop cold-calling range is strong. Also I think you dont like to have K's in your hand when bluffcatching, as these are the cards you'd like he has as a bluff (KT really beats nothing here as played).

If you don't like to bet-call, then don't bet so small in the river to induce something. :)

Is it better to bet larger on the river and fold to a raise in this spot or just check call then?

also player on button was betting almost everything checked to him.

In that case isn't check call on the flop the logical play?

Wholeheartedly agree. You rep such a weak range that he can definitely try to get you off it.

As played bet the turn for sure. Some of his flop calling range just made a str8, and if the rest of it is trips then there's a ton of value. Why would you assume he is betting here ott? As played bet $8 otr and deal with the raise if/when it comes. We have 3rd nuts so either x/c or bet big/decide. Bet small/fold is worst option imo.
