Hi guys,

how you size the 3Bet-Size vs a MinRaise. For sure we can decide this by the strength of our hand vs a fish, but vs a reg/unkonwn I do not want be readable. So I have 2 options that I know to size the 3 Bet:

  • (3 * the Minraise) + 1 BB if we are OOP + (Calls of the Minraise * Minraise)
  • 9BB + 1 BB if we are OOP + (Calls of the Minraise * Minraise)

The secound one is the one that I use I they bet like "normal".
Anyway the most important thing here for me would be the "Why". Why you decide to go for what 3bet size.

Thanks for ur thoughts! :f_love:

Minraises I usually 3bet to 7bb. No matter if I'm OOP or IP. That is mainly because I think raising to 6bb gives too cheap price for others behind me to join the pot.
If there are callers I usually make a pot size raise and probably add one or two BB.

Nice!
I will implement this into my gameplan.
No further questions about this - sir. :f_thumbsup:

9BB in position (3x of standard 3BB open) and 12BB out of position (4x of 3BB open) still is fine against min opens imo.
