Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $5 (100 bb) 27/17
BB: $5.38 (107.6 bb)
MP: $8.73 (174.6 bb)
CO: $10.71 (214.2 bb)
BTN: $5.59 (111.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♠: Q♣:
2 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, BTN calls $0.35

Flop: ($1.05) 6♣: 4♣: J♦: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.51, BTN calls $0.51

Turn: ($2.07) Q♥: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.78, Hero calls $0.78

River: ($3.63) 2♦: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.58, Hero calls $1.58

My thoughts....

Pre:
think petty standard.

Flop:
OOP with a Backdoordraw 2 OCs and the initiative Cbeting is ok.
His calling Range:
Sets 2pair mediumPP TP FD OCS with Backdoor FD K♣: A♣:

Board: Jd6c4c
Equity Win Tie
MP2 30.01% 28.38% 1.64% { AsQc }
MP3 69.99% 68.35% 1.64% { JJ-66, 44, AJs, KJs, QJs, AcQc, KcQc, AcTc, KcTc, QcTc, JcTc, Jc9c, Tc9c, Tc8c, 9c8c, Ac7c, 9c7c, 8c7c, Ac6c, 7c6c, Ac5c, Ac4c, Ac3c, Ac2c, AJo, KJo, QJo, JTo, AcQd, AcQh, AcQs, AcTd, AcTh, AcTs, KcQd, KcQh, KcQs }

Turn:
Hit my TPTK. With a blocker to some FD I decide to let him stab.
Would u guys bet here? b/f B/c?

Board: Jd6c4cQh
Equity Win Tie
MP2 73.67% 72.55% 1.12% { AsQc }
MP3 26.33% 25.20% 1.12% { JJ-66, 44, AJs, KJs, QJs, AcQc, KcQc, AcTc, KcTc, QcTc, JcTc, Jc9c, Tc9c, Tc8c, 9c8c, Ac7c, 9c7c, 8c7c, Ac6c, 7c6c, Ac5c, Ac4c, Ac3c, Ac2c, AJo, KJo, QJo, JTo, AcQd, AcQh, AcQs, AcTd, AcTh, AcTs, KcQd, KcQh, KcQs }

River:
total blank, all draws are busted... I decided stick to may plan and let him bet his busted draws?
he would c/b all his mediocre Stuff ore sure like:
:Jx:77-TT

Villians betting range:
TP+ and busted draws
close call getting 23% Pott Odds

Board: Jd6c4cQh2d
Equity Win Tie
MP2 25.00% 25.00% 0.00% { AsQc }
MP3 75.00% 75.00% 0.00% { JhJs, JhJc, JsJc, 6d6h, 6d6s, 6h6s, 4d4h, 4d4s, 4h4s, QsJs, Tc9c, Tc8c, 9c8c, 9c7c, 8c7c, QJo }

Did I loose value here not betting (b/f) to get value form the mediocre stuff which he happily c/b ?

  • Pre I would just call due to the beginner's strategy --> so-called "top pair value call" --> it's still NL5, so why deviate from standard play?
  • Flop play depends on villain --> against a reg I would always bet 3/5 ps, against a fish 1/2 ps is okay 'cause he won't realise the difference anyway
  • On the turn I would clearly bet 4 protection vs flush draws and other draws, so I'd prefer a 3/4 ps bet => So I don't like checking because you let him draw 4 free!
  • On the river c/c is okay as played vs 1/2 ps because he probably has a made hand you could be ahead against (some Qx stuff) or a busted draw which he might bluff

    Nope I wont deviation in this spot pre

  • Flop play depends on villain --> against a reg I would always bet 3/5 ps, against a fish 1/2 ps is okay 'cause he won't realise the difference anyway
    Why 3/5 vs Reg?
    why betting slightly bigger vs reg?

    protection vs flush draws and other draws, so I'd prefer a 3/4 ps bet => So I don't like checking because you let him draw 4 free!

    Agree a with u, but b/c feels bad (bc in 3Betpots decreases FE and Reg should know this) and b/f also.
    So sometimes in 3bet Pots I like to check sometime especially when I have a blocker like here and a reg who like to float

  • On the river c/c is okay as played vs 1/2 ps because he probably has a made hand you could be ahead against (some Qx stuff) or a busted draw which he might bluff

You didn't mention who your opponent is! Is he a reg or a fish?
