Tricky Spot with AK OOP

Definitely 3 bet in SB, unless he's a fish and has a sizing tell and this is always AA you should actually 3bet more often when someone makes it bigger .

As played I prefer a turn check. When someone checks this board he either has Ax that he pot controls and will bet now some random midair or just garbage that gave up or plans on delay cbetting and your range should be very weak here .

If i was in heros' shoes in this hand, after seeing the spoiler of what UTG had, i 'm telling you now that cats going through the fucking roof.

PF, on NL50 btw, AKo on SB is clear 3bet I think. Calling range on SB is very tight, vs late positions I dont have calling range on SB, only 3bet or fold.
As played, check on flop is good and when I think about turn, I like idea about checking again. He can try to bluff with low hands, he bets Ax combos and against other hands we dont have two barrels I think. And at least, we protecting checking range. If villain is too passive, bet T+R is better option.
As played, OTR his lane looks very strong but he represents 5 combos? One AA combo, three 99 combos, one 44 combos. Which means if villain have 2 combos of bluff here, you can profitable call. He can have a lot of heart broadways combos, so I call in this spot.

After seeing this player had 64o I was very tilted. Perhaps, a 3-bet pre would've saved me some money if villain was raise folding this kind of junk. On another note, i discovered this player was a complete maniac based on my observations in later hands. Thanks for the input guys.:f_drink:

Preflop is where you played poorly. As played, postflop is fine. Turn check is worth considering as suggested.

Preflop is a 3bet in general.

Postflop, Turn definitely is a bet, you have a few weaker aces in your range here that can play for pot control. Also you don't block the possible backdoor flushdraws that he has and you want to start vbetting against his weaker aces/flushdraws.
