After a year not playing due to various reasons, i decided to take another shot on spins..
Things went well, starting off with 200$ in 1$ spins , now running on 7$...
I got lucky too- won 500$ in a silver chest- a perfect addition in my bankroll..
The plan from the start was to grind the 3$ games but decided to try the 7$ due to the 1% less rake payed..
The 7$ were way harded than the 3$ but still beatable..
So i calculated that if i run a roi of 3% plus the chests i good have a decent addition to my salary...
Rakeback (chests) were garbage, but i thought 5-7% rakeback from 7% rake is 0.35-0.49% additional added roi..
Not good but not nothing given that i play huge volume of games...

And thats when i went BONANJA...
Pokerstars for no obvious reason decided to raise the points required for chest opening..
Not just raise them- doubled them... Silver chests now need 6800 from 3400 previously...
Meaning that for every almost 60$ i take back 2-3$ most of the times... THE FAQ!!
Communicating with pokerstars was the plan... And i did..
Most of their answers referring the double points required, was that there are multiple reasons for that such as deposits/withdraws, winning/losing, volume etc...
Tried to explain them that, that didnt make sense whatsoever...
I pay rake i receive rakeback... More rake means more rakeback...

Next answer was that MOST OF THE FEEDBACK THEY RECEIVED WAS POSITIVE REGARDING THE CHEST SYSTEM...
Who in the blue moon would say that this rakeback system is positive... Who did they ask?:f_biggrin::f_biggrin::f_biggrin:
They last mail was(i quote):

''The feedback we have received so far was VERY POSITIVE from the MAJORITY of players..
Again, you are fully within your rights to not liking the new stars rewards.
However, there is little point in discussing personal opinions.
If you feed ''ripped of'', remember that nobody forces you to play here.
As such, we take the liberty and consider this communication closed.''

This is the funniest mail i ever received...
My question remains.. Who are those ppl who give positive feedback for the stars system?
Spam them guys... Explain them like i explained them how their system is garbage...
Needless to stay and after that last mail my bankroll and i move to another heaven :f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup:

One of the factors determining the chest requirements is how much the player has won or lost recently (in favour of those who've lost) and their regularity of play.

I've just gone on a slight downswing that has made my Stars account technically a net loser on the basis of the last 3 (?) months, I believe. My requirements for a red / blue chest have gone down to 165 / 370. When I was playing more actively and winning, they were 240 / 560 (1400 for a bronze chest). At the start of the new VIP program, the target was 200 points for a red chest but went up to 240 as soon as I started grinding.

Moreover, exactly today I got a personal reload bonus of $40 cash + 10 x $1 Spin & Go Max tickets requiring a $200+ deposit. The last time when I got an analogous bonus was also right after I experienced my previous downswing.

So Stars' VIP offers have become highly personalised.

To be clear, I'm not so glad to have 20% rakeback temporarily instead of the 5% received by winning players, as the difference is tiny anyway, just I've given you a data point so that you know what kind of players are considered VIPs by Stars nowadays.

We pay pokerstars by rake not deposits and earning...
They created a system were losers get bonuses while winners get squat!!
Its not casino game , its poker... They shouldnt care about deposits and winners...

Also lets say that depositors and losers get better bonus?
What is better? 20% for 40$?
Are they kidding?

This means ps gets at least 80% of rake in their pockets IN ANY CASE...
Bullocks!!!!
