Yes, you can. But pre must be iso raise.

Pre-flop I would raise to isolate the limper as well. This way you have the initiative and it’s likely you will play 1 against 1 post-flop in position. On a small bet like this I would call 1 street as well, but it’s close for sure with 3 clean outs for a straight.

i concluded i needed some requirements first before i call, like small bet, relatively dry board, position etc. before i make the call. It seems a call in this situation.
About isolating the limper i have problem choosing the range
What kind of hands should i isolate with?

* top 15-20%?
* hands with little showdown?
* hands that i usually call with?
* hands one open-raises middle stages i.e. ATo?

Sorry, I'm in the dark in this department...
In addition, the open-limper had VPIP 50 (!), didn't see that then... What about stats? should just isolate everyone limping early stages, regardless of their VPIP/PFR stats, just by looking cards and position?
And the basic plan is to win the pot with a C-bet i presume and shut down i presume?
Finally, is isolation for more MTTSNG based and not so for STT?

I would try to isolate often, but it depends how many limpers we are dealing with and from with position we are playing. On the CO like now I would isolate with any pair, most broad way combo’s and suited connectors like T9s. Then I would Cbet often as well if the limper is calling. Those players playing most of the time fit and fold and They will give up if they don’t hit something.
