Back at the tables

....crushing the SnGs _evil:_evil:_biggrin: FINALLY! A good poker day with hands that mostly held, except KK in the 5€ DON. Remember? Won a 5 € ticket even though I was sick and decided to play a DON because ..........

I MOVED UP!!!!!!!!!

I can play now 5€ DONs. SnG I have to stay at the 2€s but can take a shot from time to time.

So, my shot at the 5€ DONs was nice, but busted out with a suckout KK < 66. Too bad. _cry: Okay, was a shot for free. _biggrin: Today I could win most of my SnGs (and DONs), so could make a nice little :profit:

I would say: A good start after beeing sick ..... huh?

MTT "saved my day" :mdr:

Another marathon-session today, while SnGs and DONs didn´t go soooo well (okay, wouldn´t have been a big loss), I reached again a Flyweight-FT. Could place 7th, got sucked out at the FT: TT < 77.

But because I didn´t run so well in SnGs and DONs, I finish break-even today.

Gonna play the 5K Series on iPoker today and then that´s it.

So, now! Crushing the SnGs, DONs and MTTs again. After this long downswing and break-even phase it´s just nice to see that I indeed CAN crush and that I´m not too stupid for poker. :f_ugly:

When we're in a downswing, there is a danger that we'll "adapt" and change our play -- usually this means becoming too passive. We tend to forget that crushing is the normal situation, and the downswing is the anomaly.

All the best,

ITM but no FT for poor Primrose :f_ugly:

I have no idea why but traffic at the 2€ SnGs was very poor today. I decided to play a couple of 1€ DONs and SnGs and because I could finish a bit earlier: MTT _drink: Played the 1 € and the 0,5 € Flyweight on Party and got ITM in both tourneys but unfortunately didn´t make it to the FT. Placed 19th and 18th. Well: okay. Some nice winning today, not big, but okay. _ugly:

P.S.: We don´t wanna be too greedy. :sifflote:

Villain on tilt! _ugly:

Today there was only a small winning for me, was almost card-dead. Could only make 2nd and 3rd places, won only one SnG. But won almost all DONs _ugly: I realized that I improved also in DONs. Villain very often make a lot of mistakes at the bubble, not only in SnGs, also in DONs. I´m practicing and studying the ranges but I still have to adjust to :f_ugly: which often means: playing a bit nitty.

Anyways, im my last SnG today I sucked out Villain in the HU (55 > TT) and he was steaming, wow! Soo may insults in the chat :mdr: (If I told them, the mods would kick me out of here :mdr: ) Okay, we have recreational player here and okay, he´s on tilt. The rest of the HU was very easy: adjusting to a totally steaming Villain, trying to concentrate even though I was laughing all the time :mdr: but I made it. Concentrating on the ranges (and laughing my bum bum off) and I won the SnG! As I said, small winning, but you know: ...better than nothing, right? _grin:

Tilting people are so fun, at micros they often don't undestand anything about the game, once I've even been told "oh you opened 3BB preflop with 89s you big fish, keep that up please and we'll see who's gonna win"

But what struck me recently was that there was even more tilt and insults at low-stakes (at least on pokerstars) !
One member of my group plays there, usually at NL100-200, but sometimes he likes to move down and when I rail him at NL50 it's incredible how much regs are talking on the chat !
The number of times he has been told that he was "such a bad regfish that he'd never move up in stakes", it's priceless :]

Floxy: :mdr:

One of the funniest insults I got was in a DON. I held A♠ K♥ and called his bluffs. It was so clear that he just had hot air, I called him down. Showdown: He had K♠ J♣, I won the hand and he wrote "DONK". :mdr:

I didn´t answer, had 6 tables open but was laughing so hard :mdr:

6 tables are not an excuse not to troll. But if you have a hard time, just play less tables. Dont give up trolling for nothing.

Haha! :mdr: I used to flirt at the tables to interrupt Villains thought processes. :sifflote:

I once played Hearts with the screen name "Mitzi" and did that also. Unfortunately, it wasn't for real money.
I didn't think of doing that when I started playing Poker.

Cheers,

I suppose that what is making everyone laughs so hard here is that the sentence is supposing villains do have thought processes occuring when they're playing, right ?

The misterious fart in the staircase

Guys, I have the most "charming" husband on earth ...........................[x] NOT! :f_ugly:

What happened? Well, he comes home from work, says hello and the next question was:

"Did you fart in the staircase?"

The reason for his question was a strange smell in the staircase. And yes, of course it was me who went out to the staircase to fart. I really have nothing better to do in my free time than farting in the staircase :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

So now you know my favourite hobby. :mdr:
