This is probably the more balanced line to take otf. Nice to have some hands to stack off with if co pots. I don't mind raising either. It's not like you're super deep here, so not folding top2 without a read. Also, you don't have a single spade, so it's way more likely co has a fd.

We don't need to be that balanced vs. 87/54 aggro monkey. Just take the line that gives most profit. You played it perfectly, if CO raises just get it in as he is aggro.

Imo, max exploit is to show up with strong hands to just call otf with. He'll likely pile lots since your call looks like dead money or 1 pair.

We don't know enough to know which line is better. Hence, we want to have strong hands in both lines.

Perfect GTO is best when we have 0 hands from opponent. Here we have some hands (don't know how much) and the opponent has played them quite aggressively preflop. Poker is about estimations, and here we have a reason to estimate that it is more probable that opponent is more aggressive than an average player (totally unknown). So we can move from GTO balance towards exploiting opponent's aggression.

And the way to exploit aggression is to add more strong hands to our passive lines, compared to perfect GTO.

OP gives zero info on how villain plays postflop.

If someone is really aggressive preflop, which is more likely?

- He likes to be aggressive postflop
- He plays passively/tight postflop
- He plays really balanced game postflop with his wode preflop ranges

None of those are impossible. But if we assume something like 80/15/5 for odds, should we play balanced gto postflop or assume that he is aggressive? Unless we get more information and can then adjust?

It’s like saying that we shouldn’t play against range as we can’t know for sure what opponent has. If we estimate that opponent has nuts 80% of times, we play accordingly. Even when we can’t be sure he has the nuts. Why isn’t that concept applied to range of opponents style, when we have information to build that range?

Well, I wouldn't call. There are 50/50 good turns and bad turns, just too much for my taste. If opponent has something he will call when we have the best hand most probably blocking nicely his straightdraws, or if he has 9s7s3d2d and folds Im very happy.

I would call hands that dont really mind getting it in now or seeing turn, so a made hand with draw to go with or just very strong draw. When utg goes all-in no point really raise with nut-draw with no pair, you need to make your hand and want CO to be there when you do right?

So there is plenty of hands that can just call and dont mind CO jamming, I dont see why this hand should do so being so vulnerable.
