I don't think you have to worry about the strength of your kicker so much since villain just limp called pre. I would continue betting OTT.
And as played I think you could just bet fold the river. You still have a top pair vs a limper and you bet only once so I think in general you might be missing some value here.

If hero had 2nd barrelled the turn, would you fire a 3rd (bet/fold) on the river or check/crying call?

UTG is a fish as well. I would Cbet around 6bb and if you bet more you can even consider shoving the turn for value. Now I would bet the turn as well with the intention to shove on a blank river card.

As played I would make a thin value bet and fold on a shove. Now you get nice odds to call and to bad he has a Q now. Also I recommend removing the outcome of the hand next time or put it in a spoiler.

I wouldn't feel very comfortable in firing a third barrel OTR when any Q makes a straight.
When villain limp calls pre and just calls postflop he seems a bit passive. So I think he wouldn't bluff that often OTR if we check -> check folding might be a good option. But I guess I still like the idea of making a very small bet, something like 30% of the pot. We get value from weaker 2 pair hands and maybe from some random Ax and then we can fold vs a raise.
