I wouldn't fold to 3bet because I would've open folded already Garbagy hand, I dont see what kind of opponents you can have to play this profitably here. Also I would definitely fold vs SB 3b even in position, no suit makes this hand just worthless. And the type of villain wouldnt matter to me with this holding, but I guess it's better to have fit&fold guy than some more aggro or tricky/good player against us naturally.

If you have a read that says "be careful not bluffing, knows I'm a station" (ha ♦):, I dont see this as a good call otf either. Yeah you have slim chance to have FE if he has some low rundown or something, but mostly I guess you're hoping to bluff with your A-blocker. That's counter-intuitive to me considering those notes you have of him.

I think it's problematic in general to call with a hand that you're gonna mainly just bluff with later. I dont think AA/KK will have any hard time "hero"calling this board if diamonds miss, and you're holding that Ad blocker planning to bluff with it. Maybe if you were deeper he could get headache against pressure, but even then I think he has a note that you've pretty strong red-line, no?

Agree - open pre is very thin; bottom of range. I also like folding vs the 3b. However, I think if we're looking to float some boards this is a reasonable candidate. We'll turn a straightdraw on any broadway. On a diamond villain has a really tough time unless has the Q or K high flush. Given the size of the cbet, we're going to need to call here quite often (68%) to avoid being exploited. So Given how few overpairs we're going to have here (which would be bluffcatchers anyway) I think we won't make up the 68% with only flushdraws. Most other hands, like our rundowns, have even less chance to improve so I'm not sure we should be so quick to fold this hand otf.

Edit: the reason I think these notes are helpful, potentially, is that villain already puts me on value when I call flop. He's seen me call down light so he can't bluff that easily on the turn. He will value bet thin, it's true, but when he doesn't have much he's going to check and we can take the pot down. Thoughts?

Really this hand is no good enough to open with like... ever. BUT! Since you got reraised and called and then on the flop you actually have something going for you. The naked ace bluff with excellent position on you opponent. I think you play this hand after the flop comes as good as you could.

Good turn bet not to small not to much, unless he has JJ or QQ2 or KK2 or AA2 I dont really see him calling more then once. once he checks turn here he most like tell you: 1: Im done with this hand. 2: I'm scared and would like some pot control. 3: I have the nuts i trap this fool.

If he calls and checks you must bet again and this bets for the whole stack, even if he has K high flush this call will not be easy to make and thus it's a EV+ play against the very most opponents.
If he call light in this spot make a note and take advantage of this in the future.
