Hero??

Preflop: Standard iso raise vs a fish. BB is a solid reg, so in general I can 4bet and get it in, but decided to call. The reason is that I think that vs him I would be mostly against KK+ if he decides to 5bet.

Flop: Not sure what this 1/3 bet means, but I believe he would bet KK+ or 6x bigger. He can expect me to call wide anyway on that board. It smells alot like AK-AJ to me, or a semi-bluff with AhXh.

Turn: Now it's tricky. I don't think he is betting AK-AQ anymore or a flushdraw on that board, so I believe his range might be KK+, AJ and A6. Maybe it's the spot to fold right away. Since there is still a possibility he might have AJ or some bluffs in his range + I have a pretty strong bluffcatcher, decided to call.

River: Now even AJ beats me, so I think it's a fold.

The board is quite dry and paired. As a 3bettor his range is probably stronger than yours, so I think it could make sense for him to choose a smaller sizing?
I play it the same way. Call flop is clear imo. Would call OTT also for the reasons you mentioned.
OTR I think he is super strong. Difficult to see many bluffs or weaker value hands playing like this. He is a short stacker = probably recreational = probably doesn't care about balancing his betting range = I think you fold a big part of your range and be happy.

Thanks for the comment! Just one correction - he is not a short stacker - he has 106,17 bb's at the beginning of the hand. He is one of rare solid regs at the site.

Meh, you probably can't fold. You have a bluff catcher but you're super high up in your range. You probably overfold the river if you fold queens. But if you think he never bluffs, which is what you seem to suggest with your writing, then fold. I think it's a little ambitious to assume villain never bluffs if "He is one of rare solid regs at the site.".

What jacks does he really have here
AJo shouldn't 3bet vs 4X iso every time if he's solid
So what...2AJs combos 2KJs combos, some Ajo let's say
And I expect Jx to mix in different sizings on the turn too - smaller size just has a higher EV with this hand when you hold the jack even though his size is just fine for his range

On the other hand yeah I guess it's not obvious to bluff this river

My advice is it doesn't matter either way just click buttons, it's a rare spot likely close to 0 EV with the odds

Another one of those bet 25% PSB on the river spots in Snowie from BB's perspective btw
I just can't for the life of me figure out what's the advantage to betting 25% on the river in practice
He does it with almost every hand he gets there with mixed between check and bet
Shows TT as a -ev call I think in practice everyone gets confused and snaps any pocket pair tho xD

Could be difficult to balance his betting range on this board. If he doesn't have many good bluffs and he bets too big it lets us make a lot of exploitative folds because his range is too value heavy?

It probably is because snowy discounts us having QQ+ alot(we 4bet that a high % of the time). Nor do we have alot of Jx or 6x in our range. So he's either splitting or winning, in other words a very strong range. Which leads to a smaller betsize OTR to be 'gto'. (But in practice people won't do this, as this board texture doesn't come up that often. )
Snapping all pp's is rather bad tho, i'd rather snap Ax/Kx due to blocker effects. (If we reach river with those hands).

I'd 4bet this pre tho.

Snowie flats QQ mostly actually there (was a 4bb raise and iso and he plays vs himself, i.e. tight somewhat balanced limps )

I checked these spots so much in general (the 25% in "Weird situation", often as donk)
In many situations (e.g. call C/R on Qxx OOP, then donk 25% on the turn, 3b pots, spots like this)
It's got something to do with range composition not necessarily the equity advantage range vs range
Not necessarily stronger, often the guy donking or betting small has less nutted hands actually
But it's just made hand heavy and a good part of it wants to see the next street/showdown cheaply

The top guys of NLHE use these in many spots, it's like the one thing I don't use in my game and don't fully understand it
EDIT: and well people even at NL100-200 are bad enough vs normal lines to actually spend the hours to work it out. Or I have been just lazy lol

River the best bluff hand is AK and others that remove the most Jack combos pretty much - really not sure if Ahi is a better bluffcatcher
vs the 25% all of them to have similar (slightly negative) EV, TT and Ahighs in Snowie

This spot is definitely not worth anybody's time to work out by the way , or if we argue about specific combos and split hairs that'll be just futile
You can click any button, you're really high up in your range and even if it's a small mistake it's so rare especially with the limp and board that the impact on your winrate will still be non-existent. Same with river size as 3 bettor
It's either 25% or 58%

Why I post walls here is that I've been looking at these often strange at first sight 25-30% bets in general since they popped up both in the highest stakes and then some time later in Snowie in a bunch of spots

Could be part of it
but you can barrel the turn really wide after the small flop size
and there's plenty of combos to turn into a bluff

The main thing the 25% does is it allows QQ and KK to bet river instead of checking with larger size
And then bet some Ahighs with mixed strategy that either see showdown and chop that would check/fold otherwise
Or even make TT fold and chops call as Varune pointed out could be done in BU's shoes

I didn't really look at the whole range, was just throwing random combos in on the river for both.
I'd want a more common spot to get Pio and specific ranges
