Pre-flop seems like a standard defend. The flop you could consider raising for value, but otherwise you can’t play this hand much differently on the ace river card.

Interesting to know why you would do it. It’s still a decent change the UTG player will bet again.

UTG will often autocbet any AX (large portion of its range) and xback turn. No reason to give him a free card. It's important to deny equity on shorstacks.
Could also fold turn vs. raise which I assume would be very nutted, while otherwise we need to x/c 3 streets.

I would have played this hand in the same way. I do not think it is sensible bet turn out of position.

Ok, chieftain, I will try to explain to you with my beautiful English.
We are on SB. Do you notice that? Do you notice the "shove-guy" on the BB?
If we are on BB, this is very different. We can call with KTo, Kxs, no problem at all. But in this situation , if the BB go All in, most likely the UTG also will do that. He knows about your hand. UTG knows, BB knows, the whole fcking world knows. And this will happen very often. Because of you. You can't justify this lost with the ante. Because the BB will call sometime. And this is not HU already. You can't do "probe bet", "reverse float" as bluff.
You can use this hand as 3bet bluff. Possible play. Not so great. But on this limit this is stupid play.

id also fold or 3b pre which is a strategy from sb that is probably the easiest to play. postflop it plays itself pretty much and leading anywhere doesn’t rly accomplish a ton when we literally want to protect vs 2-3 outs. i think keeping his bluffing range in there is more important than equity denial.
