Monday report
Wasn´t able to play much, so only a small report:
Week 63
Hands: 1,3 K
Result: - 3.28 €
BR: 435, 53 €
Goal: 1.000 €
Back at the tables!
....and shocked!! ♠_o: Party Poker changed their MTT schedule and it SUCKS! Less and less PKOs, more and more stupid satellites. My favourite MTTs take now place only every 2 hours!! This sucks! You can only play like 2 MTTs at a certain time, the rest is satty! ♠_evil: 2 hours late reg makes the MTTs take forever. I´m really dissapointed and angry. Used to play 1.10 $, 2.20 $ and 5.50 $ PKOs or Freezeouts, which took place every hour. Now it´s every second hour! ![]()
So I played also SnGs and DONs and could make a tiny little winning but the MTT schedule gets worse and worse. Do they wanna chase away the regs who bring the most money??!!!!! ![]()
By the way: Made a little winning today but only a tiny little one - was running very bad at the beginning of my session, the last couple of tourneys went well.
Be sure to email them and let them know how you feel about the new schedule.
All the best,

Let me help you:
ITM but it sucks....
So, played one of my beloved PKOs and found that it sucks! 3 hours late reg? Hello? It takes 5 hours until ITM, don´t wanna know how long it takes to make a deep run, I came ITM but busted at 43th with trips (vs full house). Also the Freezeouts have now 3 hours late reg. So, instead of starting a new MTT every hour they lenghtened the late reg phase of every tourney. During this phase you also can re-entry. So one MTT takes like 7-8 hours?

So, let´s see what I can do, thinking about moving some BR to Stars?
Won today, but those MTTs now are a real pain in the bum bum!
The rehearsal or: What? only 1.500 Chips?!
I was trying out some MTT-SnGs on Stars which could be something for me. 180 man, 90 man and 45 man SnGs. This was only the rehearsal, so not taken from BR! I think I could like those MTT-SnGs, there are also some non-turbos which are less swingy than turbos. Tried out some 1 $ s and found that Villains there are not so much better than those at the 1.10 $ on Party Poker. Oh boy, gotta get used to ONLY 1.500 Chips starting stack! I´m used to play deep stack tourneys, okay the STTs on Party also have only 1.500 Chips starting stack but MTTs: used to play deep stack......
Besides, practiced HU with coach (Honigmund38) which was BIG FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Memories
So, the (half-) BR transfer has taken place: I decided to try out Pokerstars anyway (and it was recommended to me). Okay, half of the BR on Stars, half stays on Party. Now I gotta find out, what I like. Played some 45-, 90- and 180 man SnG-MTTs, one PKO-MTT and some K.O.-9-man-SnG (FUN FUN FUN!). Okay, I´m really seriously grinding up, BUT: You cannot do that without having fun and a good time at the tables. Back on Stars after 8 years (!) and seeing this HUGE choice of tourneys (Wow) I had to try out different ones - what do I like best? Urm. So far the SnG-MTTs. You can play MTT but don´t have to invest 6-8 hours or so, no late reg for 2 hours, but sit down and play and MTT. I think that will be something for me! And by the way, then I remembered that I liked those 9 years ago too! I remember playing those 27- and 45-MTT-Sngs - but back then I played WAY worse of course (was mainly CG-player). I remember SCOOP 2009, I was playing 3 events (qualified) and cashed in two of them (and spent the money afterwards). I remember playing the PLO8 SCOOP-event (low), playing until 5 a.m the next morning, I remember Sunday Storm (which was called Sunday Quarter MIllion and Sunday 100 Grant).
Aaaw, nice memories, and while remembering I made a nice winning.
*4th in a 90man-K.O. (and K.O-ed 5 Villains)
*ITM in two 180man SnGs (forgot the places but not FT, only ITM)
*won a 45man SnG
*4th in another 45man SnG
*a 3rd place in K.O.-STT (played only three)
I just found you here from the link that you put on Collin Moshman's coaching twitch stream. I enjoyed his coaching session tonight, he explains things clearly. Good luck with your SnG and MTT grind Primrose.
Thank you very much, guys! Nice to read that people enjoy my blog - I enjoy writing it!
So, before I start grinding I think I found out, what I like and what I´m gonna go for: Yeah, as expected - MTT-SnGs! The reason why is that I can play MTT and be flexible in my daily schedule. Before I always had to get up "in the middle of the night" (very early), do my work so that I could make it to the scheduled MTTs on Party. Now I can sit down and play MTT anytime. Just sit down to play a 90-, 180 man MTT-SnG (without hours of late reg), play them and go. Don´t have to invest so much time anymore. When I won´t have so much time, I can play only an 18- or 27-man SnGs or only STTs.
So that gives me A LOT more flexiblity in my daily schedule.
Oh, what a session!
Nothing worked out, today - almost nothing. Card-dead, totally missed boards, lost about 90 % of my jams, the chips I jammend went directly into the monster hands of Villains or got sucked out.
Got only twice ITM in the 180s, couldn´t make any 45man SnG but could make one FT in a 90tie K.O. where I could place 5th. So, definitely a looser-session deluxe but not so bad. My last tourney where I K.Oed 2 Villains and placed 5th made my long poker day and reduced my losses ![]()
Had fun playing those SnG-MTTs anyway and enjoyed that I could start my session whenever I wanted. Played by the way 2 sattys for Sunday Storm too but couldn´t make it. Bummer! ♠_cry:
Monday report
Due to my bad session yesterday, only small winnings:
Week 64
Hands: 4 K
Result: +1,03 € ![]()
BR: 436, 56
Goal: 1.000 €
Running a bit bad
but made a little winning on "reg infested"
Pokerstars
Could place 4th in a 45-SnG and 8th in a 180man SnG, even though I ran quite bad. Made a little loss altogether (PartyPoker). Playing now only STTs on Party and the MTT-SnGs on Stars, wich are really fun. Yeah, had fun during my session and made it not to tilt after loosing with sets, str8s and most of the jams, mostly with AK and AKs (yeeeeah, Anna Kournikova, looks good looses to often). It will be over soon - played 1.500 hands today.
Stinky rotten egg of the day
Went to ICM-jail for that
partypoker - 100/200 NL - Holdem - 4 players

ICM-izer says calling range is JJ+ here (even though Villain pushes loose).
Okay, I had half of AA..... :f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly:
Was thinking that if that was 9man sng then calling ATo should be sort of ok (versus any2) but yeah if its 6max DoN then snap fold always

Hi ghale,
it was a 9-max turbo SnG (no DON). I put the hand in ICMizer and depending on Villains range it can be HUGE -EV or a close call, against a super loose Villain it´s +EV but this Villain here had stats of 14/10 so I didn´t put him on such a loose range. Okay, here he pushes 78o, I figured out that he must push about 25-30 % of his hands, against this range ATo is still -EV. If Villain pushes any2 it´s a profitable call. But this call is definitely profitable in an MTT. I guess I was mixing up the MTT- and STT-ranges here.
By the way, speaking of DONs: Had yesterday a super funny one. We were at the bubble and two Villains were big stacks, the Villain on my right side and I had like 8 BBs, resp. 10-11 BB. It was a 6-max DON. So: Got SB vs BB a push-any2 if the two bigstacks fold. That´s what happened.
Didn´t even look at my cards: JAM! Wanted to look away to the next table I had open, then I see that BB calls with K9o!!! :f_o::f_o::f_o::f_o: I held 68o, lost the hand and was left with 3 BB.
So far so good. I was prepared to loose ...... but then: the two bigstacks (the Villain who called my jam with K9o) clashed and the K9o-Villain won the hand with 22 and kicked the other biggie out

And my tiny little stack was enough to win the DON as 3rd!!!!
