I think I would probably have played it the same. It looks like he wanted to check it down after the straight draw and flush draw completed.

I'm really not sure. That's the thing about the hand, do we want to be going broke when the flush/straight hits?
I'm not sure if we want to be just leading the turn small, we're giving free equity to his over pairs to bink out a flush on us. But at the same time i don't want to overcommit, or give him reason to push.

As you can see i'm pretty lost here.

His flop bet is strange on that board.
His call is also strange, I'd jam or fold there.
I think when it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck (with AA or KK indeed).

Yes... I think I like a small turn bet, now you mention it, and you can fold to
a raise. An overpair with a club seems a distinct possibility and then he gives up after the river doesn’t improve him.

I'd bet the turn and stack off. With your check you're giving him a free card with QQ+ with a spade in it.

With his low 3bet i'd reckon he doesn't 3bet alot of Axs, so his range is PP/broadway heavy -> you're still ahead on the turn.

Also with the board getting even wetter, you don't want any more action killers. (i.e. a spade or 4card straight).

Yep, I think the same as Varune, his 3bet stats dont indicate that he will have too many Axs combos here or any other flushes. 89s would also be folding otf so the only two cards that can beat you ott are the AKs and AQs. So i would bet something like 2,5-3$ and stack off

We cannot fold on turn id we check and villain bets. We can improve...

I also think we should bet the turn here...just not sure if we should really stack off if he raises?! Ofc we can improve but I think I'd just call and see what the river brings us.
