I'm not sure what to do in this situation especially after the button has cold called the 3bet.
Our hand plays well postflop, but I'm not sure if I can play postflop well enough to justify calling here getting decent odds.
Villain was playing 20/13 and 3betting 8%.
What are your reasons for flatting or folding here.

It’s indeed a nice hand to play post-flop with, but the implied odds aren’t too great with an effective stack of 30bb. You need to invest 5k and in best case you can triple up if you hit hard. You will off course miss the flop more often then you hit top pair or better. That makes it tough to continue and is folding fine here.

I totally agree with you about hero's stack depth isn't sufficient to call here oop.
Your point on how often we miss the flop is absolutely correct and I did fold(total nit I am :()

In my opinion,
Complementary, despite KQ blocking 14 of possible 44 options of AK, KK, AQ, and QQ and MP3 has a polarized range I don't see you were ahead of button range.
