Last 6 players all ITM- 7s UTG What is your play and why?

If I understand correctly, the blinds are 3500/7000 and ante 700?

If that is incorrect, the following won't make sense.

I used the online nash calculator to get a feel for what the ballpark range would be.
I didn't have the payout structure, so I made one up.

According to that 99+ is a shove from UTG.
So much depends on your table image, and the playing tendencies of the other players though.

When down to 10 BB shoving from UTG gives you (hopefully) a chance to get some chips before you face the blinds again. If you fold, by the time you see the button you're down to 8.

So since there's no bubble considerations, I'm all for just shoving. If you do, you may isolate an Ax hand. You definitely don't want a family pot, and almost any other move brings a chorus of callers.

Just my thoughts -- I'm not an NLHE MTT expert at all!

Without a proper paid out structure information it’s tough to give feedback in the first place. It looks like you are playing a 10bb stack and is this a push/fold spot and it depends how the paid out structure is if I would shove this or not, but VorpalF2F did a good job so far.

quick add Especially on the micros or and if its a KO ....Id open shove TT+,AQs,AKo from UTG with those stacks....and no info (6max hyper and turbo MTT),ano its a bit too tight ...but id compensate shoving wider in position and from SB

PS:Cuz like on the micros at all u shove the 7s and ill tell u the action then....bu snaps ,bb 4bet all in ,bu(time bank .....). calls .....aaaaand u if u lucky enough ull see one of them on Ax(kiccker lower than 7):f_biggrin::f_biggrin::f_biggrin:....its just my openion do what u want

Don't let the result mislead you.
Here it sounds like you shoved, and one (or more) of the others called you.

The nash equilibrium I linked to is only a starting point.
Against players who fold too much, you can shove wider, for example.

If I understand you were on the money with 77 with close to 18BB in UTG position.
From my standpoint & knowledge level (Beginner) I fold the hand.
Explanation: UTG with 5 players to talk and there are villains can call with any two.
The ideal scenario is to steal blinds with 77 and not facing a coin flip or even worse.
Usually, when players are in itm, they go nuts and there is a lot of aggression and with 18BB you can wait for several hands to receive a better hand or receive it in a better position and see others squabble with each other.
After hours in an MTT you just need a calm to relax and wait for the better opportunity to win money as others falling down.
What is the ++$EV ---> had a sit n go wizard approval for push or wait and get a better prize (add fuel to the fire)
