JJ in 3bet pot

I think you played this hand well. Pre flop is a bit of a tricky one. Some people like to play bet or fold in SB. JJ is the type of hand that you can bet call or fold in this situation. Neither opponent has a good sample so quite hard to say what is best so I'd say a call is fine.

You check OTF which is fine.
Stab on OTT is also fine as opponent has showed weakness so we can rep the ace.
Opponent makes a small bet OTR. He's either trying to induce you into reraising here or he is simply trying to take the pot down with a small bluff. Either way, I'd call as you have some showdown value and fairly good odds.

Yeah good played but Villain too good play it against you sizing on river if he bet 1/2 i think you can give up

I', m not sure we want to cold call anything in this preflop situation. I would rather 4bet than call.

as played, on the turn we beat pretty much literally no showdown value hands in his range (it's mostly KK, QQ, weak ace, trash and few Txs) and they shouldn't fold a pair to a single bet either. so, there are three outcomes that can happen out of this bet:
- they call turn, river goes check/check. we have just value owned ourselves against KK/QQ/ace most of the time, very rarely we win against Txs
- they call turn, we bet river trying to make KK/QQ fold. it could actually work as a exploit play against opponents who always cbet Ax, but it's extremely unbalanced and spewy (as we see, opponent actually checked Ax on the flop)
- they fold, but we were winning anyway. it's better to just check the turn and allow them to bluff sometimes instead

so, check/calling the turn is better than betting.
but is it better than check/folding? it should be. river is annoying if he bets and probably a fold, our range in that spot is super weird, which probably indicates a preflop mistake

But what do i do with a 4bet here? 4bet fold? And if i get called i just isolated my self against a stronger range then his 3bet range.

The situation gets worse with the fact that we are OOP. So calling preflop is not that good.
The turn bet maybe ok, but in fact what worse hands will call and what better hands will fold here?

I like the call pre. No point to 4bet here. What if your opponet 5bet? 4bet is fine if you have read that villian will 3-bet very light range of hands. As you played seems fine to me. You can't fold for this price also you extract some cheap info about his style

A small 4bet/fold would be the cheapest investment here. First of all, you don't have position. Your cold 4bet would be a very strong move to fold coin flip hands in your opponents range like AK AQ. You don't really want to see a flop against these hands. If they hit, you are screwed. If they don't hit, they will fold and you don't get any value. Thus, if you can take the pot with JJ preflop, then take it.

Another reason to 4bet, is to isolate CO. He was getting a good odds to join your pot.

As played, I prefer a check/call ott. Your hand had only one street value vs btn anyways. If he checks behind, you can safely bet otr.
