It's a good strategy, A4s is a good hand to open on the btn, if sb shoves you have to call due to his small stack. If sb folds and bb calls you play a pot in position against a fish with a hand that should be most of times ahead of his range, but you have to evaluate flop to see where your hand stands.

Cumps ;)

I think it would also be a profitable shove but I'd also prefere your described strategy

On the BTN I would min raise call the SB and fold against the BB. No need to raise more I think in position.

Can you please explain me why do you minraise here? Don´t you think that he will call a wide range of hands. How do you think about 2,5bb?

Main reason is that this is the cheapest way to steal the blinds and you get less often committed if someone shoves.
