I'll see you in diamond soon!

August update:

I played the 750 spins SL told me to do and i fell like i experienced the worst variance so far on spins and this is the graph.

I will try to review my last 200 spins and the first 100 spins to see what i did wrong or if this was just bad luck.

Next update on 1st september.

Congratulations FanTK,
Sorry to bother but does profits from Spins comes from a high volume of games and variance reduced or can you also have a good ROI % on a low/medium volume
(i mean if at equal skills) ?

Kind regards,

Kind regards,

IMO high volume is better for profit almost always.
Spins have huge variance too, but you find lots of recs even on 15s.

Are you thinking about aplly to Spin Legends?

I'm not sure about applying to Spin Legends but for sure ill work on Spins asides the Turbo SNGs.
Spins are a good way to improve the three handed game and to study monetary variance effects of turbo games.
Next week i will open a blog. So far im just starting SNGs turbos at micros with 400 tourneys in sample so i still have a lot to learn and try.
I'm very curious about mass volume sngs / spins and the best way to handle variance on the long run (Stop Loss strategies vs Playing on different Rooms vs Lowering stakes vs mixing game types ... wich is the best ? why ? and so many other things i try to figure out by the practice ) .

Tbh i have no idea about any of it lol =P
But variance is really high on Spins.
If you are intested on variance o spins this article talks about it: https://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/content/How-to-master-variance-in-Spin-Go_104052/

Only wish to never be in the 1% of any variance simulations lol _evil:
That's likely what i tought about variance in spins , i was thinking about 117 - 150 buy-ins, since i'm pretty tight when it comes to BR management i would
probably use twice more to play emotion-less and with a free mind.
Very informative video by the way.

TBH
Variance in spins is nothing compared to MTTs. It's common misunderstanding that still bubbles under from the days spins started and people played them totally wrong. I think the variance starts at around $15+ before that 70% of the field just goes all in atc seeing 2x games hoping to catch a bigger game faster. So much as money to be had there.

And yes I was early bird in these grinding these up to 10€ on poker and $7s at Stars. But hopped to mtt world after building a proper br with spins back in the days.
