Hello guys,

i played these hand and i was lost a bit during game.
Was not my day even when my session ended up with a small win, but i made many bad plays today...

But now the hand:
I guess pre and Flop are standard...
turn i made another value bet...
villains raise dosen`t make sense, but anyway bluffs are rare on the limit, but KK+ i can discount, because villain would have raise pre...
flush does not complete so i guess villain can have got two pair or a set when he is going for value...
River:
board pairs, but the 8 seems to be a blank so what to do?
Does he has got 8x or a set?
Can we bluff catch here?
Villain is unknown (9 hands) but due to stacksize i guess a weaker player...

And as a bonus, its not a regular raise, but a check/minraise which is even more underbluffed. I dont remember the exact numbers, but its proven by database analysis. Plus you block heart FD. That makes me want to fold even more. And if he wanted to bluff with a club FD, doesnt it make more sense to bluff with it OTF, when ranges are wider and more cards are yet to come? I dont know how villain thinks but thats something I would definitely consider in his shoes.

I would just fold OTT vs his raise and wouldnt feel bad about it. I may be too nitty though, I dont know. Im open for other opinions.

Edit: I just noticed you bet only 1/2 OTT. Im not sure what is the best sizing, but I would prefer 2/3, what are your thoughts on this? My reasons are: you make draws pay more, you get more from weaker hands. I actually use 2/3 OTT over like 90% of the time, dont know if its correct .

Against a min-raise on the turn. I would call. As for the river, you will sometimes call and sometimes you fold. Use a randomizer to aid with your decision.

A simple way to accurately execute frequency-based decisions is by using a random number generator. If you type ‘rng’ into Google, there’s actually an embedded one that comes up in the search which is really fast to use:

Just set the range to be between 1 and 100, and use the output to determine which action you should make depending upon your pre-determined frequencies.

For instance, say you want to fold 38% of the time and call 62% in this scenario. You fold when the number is between 1 and 38, and call when the number is between 38 to 100.

I think if you call on the turn you should call the river. When you call on the turn it's because you admit that the villain is bluffing because of his range of value I do not believe you're far ahead. If you pay the turn and fold on a river blank you are throwing away your spent amount on the turn. I prefer to fold on the turn, besides protecting myself against a riverblock (polarized in value and bluff) that will put us in an awkward situation, in the micros the bad guys tend not to bluff a lot and play more value.

This is NL10 turn minraise in general

Thing in this spot is that it can be a TP given our half pot size and BvB
And the 8 on the river takes out a chunk of his nuts
So I'd actually call down here, but go much bigger on the turn personally

And yeah SDF I'd go bigger size is good
I'd go full pot actually, overbet will be a good size although I'm not sure AQ would still be in there
