Thank you, Harrier, yes the magic chicken soup really works. Mine is homemade. Always make a huge pot of soup and then freeze it down in portions. Bone marrow soup is also great! ♠_thumbsup:
Thunderstorm chases away the heat!
Oh dear, I thought this heat will never end, but now there´s a nice thunderstorm here, very probably this is the end of this big heat
By the way: Saw AC/DC about 2 years ago and wore those little devilhorns too. Still got them! ♠_biggrin:

Well, if ya make a cake out of marble, dropping it on the floor will damage the floor more than it will damage the cake!
Oh my goodness: rotten egg of the day!!!!

Still playing, so update tomorrow........
So at least no rotten-egg-bust in the 1,5 K Gtd. 6-max on Stars. 18th place. Ran with KK into AA. Sh!t happens.
The usual setup case , there's nothing you could have done more in that situation. Except cross your fingers and toes.
Also congratulations for your ITM on the Big 1.10$ ![]()
Kind Regards,
J-C
Thank you very much, OldSchoolPapa! ♠_love:
So, now a brief summary of my yesterdays session:
Played 1.10 $, 1,50 $ 0,50 $, 2.20 $ and 3.30 $ Power Turbos (PKO and non-PKO), 1.10 $, 0,5 $ and 3.30$ Bounty Hunter (PKO) and 1.10 $ and 3.30 $ "Early Edition" (non-PKO) on PartyPoker and Big 1.10 $, Hot 0.55 $, 1.10 $ 1,5 Gtd. 6-max, 2.20$ 1 K Gtd. and Bounty Builder on Stars. Played about 20 MTTs altogether. At the beginning of my session still ran bad, in the middle of my session I started to run better.
Could make a final table in the 0,5 $ Power Turbo and place 9th.
Came ITM in the 3.30 $ Bounty Hunter, placed 28th
Came ITM in the 1.10 $ Early Edition, placed 19th
Came ITM in the Big 1.10 $ and placed 245th
Came ITM in the 1.10 $ 1,5 Gtd. 6-max and placed 18th
Altogether it was a pretty break even session, got some good hands, played well, bluffed well, but there were also a couple of very unlucky hands or just standard jams wich didn´t make it .....
As you see, I play everything up to 3.30 $ ...
For the Q9o disaster, it'd perhaps be interesting to dig deeper into it as of course you know it's awful but you might not understand why you did it anyway.
Were you tired ? Why and how much ? What were your thoughts and feelings in this moment ? How often does it happen ? What kind of mistakes does it seem to trigger ? Is their some kind of pattern (type of move, villain, situation,...) or is it totally random ?
The more you know about it the more you can prevent it from happening again, upgrading your C-game and all. You've read Tendler you know this stuff but I couldn't help to point it out

Yes, Floxy, I was VERY tired and lost concentration. I had about 7 hours grind behind me, it was late in the evening and I was already thinking about things like bed and sleeping
The Big 1.10 $ was one of my last MTTs of the day. Besides I had the 6-max 1,5 Gtd. where I got big stack and got a bit excited and nervous because I knew I could make it to the FT there. As we see I didn´t make it (18th place) but I was fully concentrated there but too tired to play more tables with full concentration.
That's why I can't play MTT, I'm bad with long sessions, but the question is what's happening in your head about your strategy when you get tired ? What made you find Q9o playable suddenly ? It's versus these thoughts and feelings that you must struggle to move up your C-game.

Something like "I push him out of the pot with raw violence"? I think violence is a good solution
A little winning with not so much violence ![]()
Played a couple of MTTs on Party: Bounty Hunters, Power Turbos and Early Editions from 0,44 $ to 3.30 $. Could win the little 0,88 $ Power Turbo
and came ITM in the 1.10 $ Sunday Early Edition, placed 22nd. Card dead in the 2.20 $ Power Turbo, jammend QQ into KK in the 3.30 $ Early Edition, lost a flip 66 vs AK in the 1.10 $ Bounty Hunter and the rest went pretty card-dead. ♠_ugly: Anyway, altogether I could make a little winning today which is the first winning session after a long time.
Haha congratulations, I guess violence does solve things sometimes ! ♠_biggrin:
I should maybe try it too ...
Next grind: Thursday!
Couldn´t grind yesterday and can´t grind today and tomorrow .......yeeeeeah, regular readers know: high work load, sports, bla bla bla ...etc..... don´t have to repeat it
I´m still in the in-season in sports, so there´s still a lot of training to do and one competetition is still ahead. So gonna train after work today and tomorrow (and that´s what I did yesterday).

Good luckAre you going to play any WCOOP events?
Thank you, I already did. Played the 2.20 $ WCOOP Phase I but busted with AA. Everything over 3.30 $ is too expensive according to my BRM, so I probably will play some sattys...
Go Go Go and get your entry with the Satellites. ![]()
For sure MTTs , Sngs ... can get really expensive if you don't pay attention to your BR.
Treat your BR as you want your BR to Treat you ... hehe ![]()
Good Luck @ Primrose6789,
J-C.
A dream of you
Had a vivid and strange dream tonight
I was playing live poker with members of our PS-community and I was totally card-dead. So Vorpal came and brought me two black dogs I should care for. While I was playing poker the two black dogs helped me.
