I wanted to try out your "check/call and induce raises strategy" from $4,40 180person MTT: 22 at AK2 Flop 4handed , because the board was very dry.
Didn't work well ^^ How do I play it better?

check-call is fine on the flop but after it gets checked through you can't do that anymore so on turn I'm betting myself 100% of the times trying to build a pot.

I thought I will only get a pot, if someone holds a seven or a flush draw. I don't think a 3 would raise here. The best thing is to show weakness and hoping, someone gets a flush at the river, holds the 7 or tries to bluff. So I checked the turn again to get at least a little bit of value. That's at least what I thought.

Thanks for feedback btw!

the thing is that if you bet the turn you get value out of a FD even if it doesn't complete on the river (if it completes then great)

you just HAVE to bet the turn.
any flushdraw will call a bet on the turn, and if he hits another one on the river.
but if you dont bet the turn and he doesnt hit the flush on the river you will get nothing.
so in this situation, i would check the flop as well but bet the turn 100% of the time as alejandrosh
