Please look up statistic theories and read on "gamblers fallacy".
Every event is mutually exclusive. The probability of hitting red 15 times in a row is completely redundant when playing roullete.

Its always 50/50 (ignore the 0).

Poker is exactly the same. Events never even out. They are completely unrelated. The entire probability of a villain hitting a 2 outer 10 times in a row vs your hand is not needed at all since the events are mutually exclusive.

This last seasion really upset me (last 1k on stars) so i came in downswings reports with roulette theory

This is what I do. Bet on red, lose, double my bet, lose again, double my bet. Then when I win I put a small bet on black, and double it again if I lose.

People, if you intend to play roulette, play 'zero-spiel'. I don't know how is it virtual casinos, but in live play, it should be known to all the casinos in Europe and probably everywhere else too, but maybe under different names.

The thing is that you cover most of the field of the cylinder with least chips. It has the best chips/field ratio, so it's the closest you can get to rational play on roulette. Playing simple bets red/black, odd/even is pure luck and the only tactics worth playing there is to put a bunch of money on one bet and get out of the casino - whether you win or whether you lose. :P

Of course, if you have enough discipline to control you BR and play strictly for fun so the winning is just a cherry on top, go for it. But playing to earn money is a NO GO. I've witnessed a guy losing 150.000 EUR in one night while working in casino and it wasn't nice. And he was somewhat 'experienced' player although the better expression would be experienced addict.

I've seen the same thing. Guy went up to the roulette wheel, bet $100 on black, lost. Doubled it, lost. Doubled it again, lost. Doubled it again, but put it on red, and lost.

It's funny how people are willing to lose way more than they're prepared to win. When losing at roulette, people generally double their bets in an attempt to catch up with their losses, but when they're winning they won't continue doubling their bets 15 times like they do when they're losing. Hence only their losses grow exponentially, and they're playing in an attempt to break even rather than win money.

Why would casinos offer a game that can be easily beaten? Its not going to happen.

I saw a program on cable about a guy who studied a real life roulette wheel and noticed which numbers fell most times over many days, he then started betting on those numbers and won.

I forgot how they put a stop to him though.

Probably replaced the wheel. It would be imperfections in wheel balance etc that could cause certain parts of the wheel to "hit" more often.

I will massacre a quote from Barry Greinstein's book for fun here -

Imagine a situation where a certain coin is flipped and comes up heads 8 times in a row.

A novice gambler will bet on tails next, claiming that the 8 heads in a row makes a tail next more likely.

A mathematician will say, the odds are the same for heads or tails next flip.

An experienced gambler would say, I wouldnt bet against the man flipping the coin but ill happily bet on whatever he does.

OP, that graph is pretty standard:

Can't do much about it... still don't wanna play roulete haha

Oh no my graph goes the other way :(

What should I do?

Seriously though, to the OP.

Just take a chill out break mate, leave anything poker related out of your mind and don't play, read or watch it. Do this for a few days and come back refreshed and I bet you see a difference :)

Good luck man, hope you bounce back,

Danny
