I think this one is close, big stack decided to just limp and he wasn't so loose and was playing very passively. It could have some traps because we are so short, it could also have some worst hands but he need to limp also some weak Kx or some QJ or QT to make this profitable. If i was the short stack it's a push but being second trying to play postflop it's probably the best idea.

I am pretty sure this was an easy shove pre flop, you shouldnt check back from BB. Just shove, better EV.

I shove that pre too. You have to stack of most of the time anyway due to the odds. If you shove you don't have to make weird calls.

When you get postflop in this kind of situation you are gonna be folding too much so it's better to jam even with a shorter stack in 3rd.

It's nasty you are playing on the bubble with a 5bb short stack, but I expect the BTN player will limp/fold often enough to make a push profitable here. Otherwise checking is fine.
