NL2 aggression indicates nuts. Its very rare to see air here. Many times you can see aces or kings. Its probably 50/50 on calling the river.

He can have Qx and FD with this line, so you can't fold flop and maybe not turn either even if it's already closer.
River though should be a clear fold. What exactly were you hoping for ?

I think it depends on whether the villain is a fish or a reg. Vs a reg it's a fold OTR, but vs a fish I think you can call. When a fish goes donk, donk, donk, Nick Howard recommends to I'll quote him "just "close your eyes" and call almost any runout."

Yeaaaah totally, it's well known, when a passive fish suddenly donk big and end up shoving on the scariest board, he's naked, for sure ! That's how we make money in poker, by closing our eyes and calling passive opponents the only moments they are waking up. Easy game

I dont think 21pfr is a sign of passivity. It's a fish so he can overvalue his KQ,KJ type of hands.
That being said, this being a squeezed spot and him ending up showing makes it worse for sure, yet I still think it's not a catastrophe to call a fish.
However I of course agree that if we doubt that he could have those hands, it’s a fold without question. I just think fish can have it.

The stats are preflop, I talk about postflop passivity which is a general trait of most people playing 80% of hands (but not all it's true). If this kind of fish is frequently donking his stack away in squeezed pots he'll have a really short life span lol.

I must agree that when villain plays over 80% of his hands and raises only 20%, then it could imply that he is passive. For sure 20 PFR is not passive but when you compare that to 85 VPIP?

As Floxy said, flop is a call, turn gets closer and OTR would be a fold.

Yeah given his betsize on the river and given the board, you guys are probably right.

Look at his stats and sizing PF, it is fish :).
Other way, we beat only Qx.. flush draw, 8x improved... But the point in my view is, even though if he blufed us and we fold it, it doesn't matter, we want make money - our value is - from on different - certain spots.

Agree with Floxy as well.
Once a passive opponents starts to Bet Big / Raise especially in the case of a recreative player it's rarely a good sign if not never.
Still against a fishy recreative if the bet sizing is small in my opinion it wouldn't be a bad spot to call down but not in that specific situation.
But what would be interesting to know is what you have been thinking during the hand Flop/Turn/River ? did you feel comfortable in that situation ?
What was your decision making process ?

This kind of things are a classic, the fish hammers when he has a good hand. Checks/calls with rubish.
