A deal has been reached between the remaining five players with all players guaranteed six-figure payouts as listed below.
Julien Stropoli – €118,500
Maxime Canevet – €169,000
Fakhreddine Abdallah – €108,500
Erik Ostergaard – €139,500
Mantas Urbonas – €121,500
There is still €73,000 and of course, the trophy left on the table to play for. The players agreed to split this up to €50,000 more to first place and another €23,000 for second place.
Players can renegotiate the remaining €73,000 on the table at any time provided that all remaining players agreed.
Actually, not lost hand, he was left 3 BB, now he doubled to 6BB. Anyway, the hand which made him drop to 3bb AQ vs KK preflop, nothing to do there.
Congrats Sir well done , when you started this challenge 2016 from 0$ did you ever think it would take you this far?
Congrats Mantelo!
Pokerstrategy members have an impressive track record in this tourney with Anto11's score in it several years ago, glad to see you're keeping up the tradition
Wow, what a month I just had
After the UCOP win, I wrote: "I was saving my big hit for Battle of Malta, but can't blame the fortune for coming a bit earlier"
Seems like I was so wrong
But the amount of luck was so immense in both tournaments, would be a nice Hollywood movie
I promised CallinMoshman to be a guest in one of his shows, and that was even before those 2 wins. So I guess he didn't forget that chat and we will have a nice talk soon
