I don't think the 10 helped him at all. Unless he 3bet pocket tens, and got lucky on the river. I'm discounting he had AJ unless he 3bets light and barrels with weak aces and a gutshot combo. I think QQQ is the likely hand. That or he was holding AA/KK. He could also have AK and shoved a scarey river not wanting to be bluffed off the hand. That would be my read going on the little information there is about the villain's tendencies. I think the fold on the river was fine considering the lack of information on this player.

I am sure that after you have played more hands against this guy you will know if you made the right fold or not.

Maybe 4bet pre as he seems to be active from SB but calling should be fine too.
Certainly no one is folding OTT, at least I hope so lol.
OTR is already more sound.

If you call ott you should call otr as well. It does not make sence to call ott just in hope to see a free showdown. It will almost never happen, not on this board and from this guy. I'd fold ott, because it's likely split or loose sitatuion.

I dislike that logic. Even if it looks like we have to fold OTR, it doesn't mean we should have folded OTT. And if we conclude that we really should have folded OTT, it absolutely doesn't mean that we are committed to make another mistake OTR too. So doing something on previous streets doesn't commit us, we can always re-evaluate.

Additionally, with that logic:
We have to fold OTR --> we should already fold OTT --> If we need to fold vs half pot bets on brick turns why not fold already OTF --> If we need to fold OTF after we hit TPTK, why even play this hand pre?

You are right in general. But here we have a 16/12 guy, yes small sample, but we can asume that he is on the tighter side. The 3-bet stat means absolutely nothing of course. This player type will likely set mine with most PP, and will shut down ott with something like JJ. That's from my experience on this limit. It's too epensive to check if we split, we cannot improve otr, and even if we are able to see a showdown we'll lose the hand many times.

I think 4bet pre is the best play because you have too small hands sample to take his 3bet% seriously especially if he squeeze vs inital raiser and the caller his range is imo wide and contains all the suited connectors and lower pairs so you could easly 4bet pre and fold to shove.

I like it, would play the same. You can 4-bet pre, but I think calling is better since you have position.
