I opened Partypoker to check if they found their have come to their senses. Saw that I have 0,99 €/1,20 $ left there and played a 1.10 $ DON and won it 
It just did good to win at least something and I realized how much I miss Partypoker ♠_cry:♠_cry:♠_cry:♠_cry:♠_cry: It was my favourite room, the MTTs were soooo cool there, but at least they still have some 2.20 $ and 3.30 $ Bounty Hunters and Turbos. Oh boy, I miss the MTTs there.....

I looked at the tourney schedule today, every hour they have at least 2.20 $ and 3.30 $ and 5.50 $ MTTs, some Bounty Hunters, some Turbos and some PLO-K.O.-MTTs.
I could play some Bounty Hunters there and some PLO-MTTs. Not many but at least some .....

Yaaaaay, spring has started here and I´m looking forward to it. I think I haven´t told yet that last weekend we made our first bike tour this year? Anyway, spring is awesome and I´m about to put the winter-clothes into the attic and the spring- and summer-stuff in the closet! And of course it´s gonna be time for gardening soon, but still not sure what to plant (sunflowers?:f_ugly: )
Today, I finished most of my work, so my work load will be normal in March which gives me more time for hobbies. While I´m tidying up the closet & stuff, I have still time to think about Partypoker or whatever ....♠_ugly:

Well, I'm usually one of those calendar-thumping purists who won't say it's spring until the "official" start on March 21 (or March 20, this year). If nothing else, we should at least wait until the beginning of March, when meteorological spring begins.

A couple of ITM (at least this!)
My big work is done, so I could take more time to grind. I decided to deposit a little "hope bankroll" on Partypoker and tried out the tourneys they offer now. Played a couple of 2.20 $, 3.30$ and 5.50 $ Bounty Hunters, a "Daily Grind", a "Classico" and a "Warm up". Further played on Titan my beloved 5€ 750€ deep, some 1€ 100€ Gtd, a 2€ 200€ Gtd., and the 100 $ Gemstone Freeroll, on Unibet a 5€ Falling Star Bounty, a 1€ Falling Star Bounty, two 2€ Singularities, a 1€ Zenith and a 5€ Deep Space. Well, the downswing doesn´t go away by not-playing
Well, yeah, running horribly, but at least I could make a couple of ITMs. Got ITM in the 100€ Gtd, placed 22nd, ITM in the 1€ Falling Star Bounty, ITM in the "Daily Grind" on Party and in the 2.20 $ Bounty Hunter. At least something.... better than nothing ♠_rolleyes: The rest went just terribly. AA got sucked out twice, this time by turn and/or river, flopped two pair K and T lost against a 2-outer (set) on the river, AA < 49s, donk jammed flop with a pair of 9 and I was happy to call. Turn: 9 ♠_rolleyes: , Flopped trips with 45s (was SB and just completed), Flop was 4-4-9, was happy to x/c, turn: T, Villain jams, I´m happy to call, river: T. What else? TT < 77, jammed with 15 BB into AA in the 750€ deep, jammed 77 into KK in the 1€ Zenith on Unibet ....etc .... bla bla bla
But at least some ITMs, and QQ already held up, and KK once held and AA held once, so ..... hopefully this will turn around soon.
What can we do? - Bankroll management!
There´s nothing else but playing through, so it´s time to think about BRM and when to move down. BR is at the moment around 960 $. Playing regularly up to 5€/5.50 $ at the moment, with some shots at the 10€/11$.
At 800 $ I will move down to the 1€/1.10$ - 3€/3.30$.
Moving up to the 5€/5.50 $ again at 1.000 $
Still have enough BR so that I don´t have to move down yet, but I think in my whole mix of buy-ins I will take more cheaper ones and less 5.50 $.

With BRM, you always need to consider what your goals are. If it's all about maximizing profit, then a BRM that's too cautious can actually be considered a leak of sorts, because it means that you're not making the most out of your money.
In your situation, however, you may even want to consider a more conservative approach, because I believe it's more about re-building morale and getting back into the game in general right now, rather than maximizing winnings right off the bat. Whichever way you choose, you need to make sure that you'll be able to tank the effects of another downswing, both mentally and financially.
I did not mean to imply that your BRM is too loose, it seems quite appropriate. I just wanted to point out that you can and should adapt your BRM guidelines to your goals, and that there's no single "correct" way to manage your bankroll.
But enough talk about the risks now, let's start focusing on the opportunities.

Maximizing ...urm..which profit? But I know what you mean. My BRM at the moment is of course absolutely aprropriate and normal; not too tight, not too loose. I indeed plan to tighten up a tiny little bit for mental -and of course financial reasons (minimizing losses). I´m planing to play way less 5€ and 5.50 $ and focus more on the 2.20 $ and 3.30 $ which is tight, but not too tight. Even though the 1€ MTTs are WAY below my BRM, I gotta take some of them in order to get enough volume in a certain time. So I gotta play everything from 1-5€, but normally try to keep the 1€ tourneys at a minimum - totally overrolled for those.

LOL, indeed: what profit?!! Again a horribly annoying session with 99 % of the flops totally missed, 95 % of the hands completely unplayable, My "regular guests" are 83o, 94o, 84o, 82o, Q4o, 72o, 73o, 74o, if I have AJ or AQ, it either completely misses or I jam into AK or better or loose against A4s or something. AA, KK and QQ are very rare, AA made it once, once had to fold it (four spades on the board, no spade), KK still doesn´t make it. KK < QJo (jam pre, flop-x-Q-x, river: Q). QQ made it twice. What else? Ran with AKs, TPTK plus nutflush-draw into a set and got no help (of course), ran with aces-up into a set, ran with AJ into AK, KJ<K4, AQ < A3, AQ< KTo. KJ<J9 --> All in on 3-J-2-flop, river: 9, AA < J7s.
As bad as I run, I decided to move down and leave out the 5.50 $ and 5€ MTTs and play freeroll to 3.30 $. I think I will play even lower, makes no sense loosing half of my BR or so. Let´s grind that out as cheap as possible.....
You use HM2? You sure you are getting those hands more than the rest? You can check if you got them the expected frequency or not.
Please share your graph with all on adjusted included. Also high numbers.. 99% flops missed 95% hands unplayable. Yea its a rantpost i guess. Does it do any good.. not. Loosing sucks but usually it is not all about running Bad ... Just saying.

Team0zum: It´s of course not all about bad running, many who run bad, don´t play their A-game and of course I don´t do that either. I never ever said that I play my A-game and never ever said that I´m a great poker player or something. If I was a good player I wouldn´t be at those limits I am right now
But you gotta understand one important thing: This is a hobby-blog! I´m a free time grindette! I don´t want you to be dissapointed if you don´t find anything here about winrates, hourly rates, bb/100, ROI or whatever.....
