Yo peeps,
I somehow stumbled across this site whilst opening an email and the progression eventually brought me to PokerStrategy.com
I’ve played poker for coming up to 19 years now and I first started on a site called Paradise Poker.
So what’s a long time player doing here?
I’ve recently returned playing properly after 4 yrs out of the game, I say out of the game, I did still play but it was like once every couple of months. I lost my daughter in September 2018 and I was having a hard time dealing with her death. So I needed something to keep me busy, take my mind off her death and so in November last year I started playing poker again.
In the four months since my return I’ve really turned to bettering my game. I signed up to Johnathan Little coaching for two years. But I still want to learn more from other coaching sites.
Since my return I only had what was left in PokerStars account which was just a few hundred dollars and so I have to work and be patient to build my Bankroll again. Fortunately I’ve took down two Mtts last month but only x2 $2 1200 player fields for about $900 total. But it gets me some breathing room.
I’ve never been a big buy in Mtt player but I like to try to at least try my hand and who knows.
I have been a winning player despite my low buy ins. I manage to win a $13.5k package to play in the main event of London EPT from a freeroll, for $1 I manage to qualify for a two hour TV show playing a 6 man Sit n Go. I won a Spin n Go for €5,000 in only my second ever attempt that cost me just €5. I was the winning captain of the PPP Top Bombers who won the first Genting Last Vegas Team Challenge for $34,000 between 6 of us. But I have also almost fully documented my very own $0~$10k Jesus Bankroll Challenge, I turned a zero Bankroll into $10k by following strict Bankroll Management. It took Jesus Chris Ferguson 9 months to complete, I took just over four years and that is my proudest moment in Poker when I finally broke through that $10,000 barrier.
I’ve also won two live tournaments in Las Vegas playing live and I’ve won multiple tournaments online throughout my 18/19 years playing. The $10k challenge can be viewed by typing into Google, PlazaPlayer.blog. It needs tidying up some because the forum I was part of closed down so I had to copy all my screenshots that I took during those 4 yrs.
My main problem is volume. I had a back operation in Nov 2009 and something went wrong during the Op and it ended with me being in really bad Chronic pain and ten years later I still have that Chronic pain. I am highly medicated and I can sleep for up to 16 hrs a day everyday because of the strength of the medication. No one knows why I’m in this pain and because no one knows they can’t do anything to help. This Chronic pain is probably the reason why I’ve never kicked on as a poker player. It was the reason why I stopped 4 yrs ago because I kept falling asleep during Tournaments and it was costing me a lot of cash. Even now I’m still lucky to play about 10 tournaments a week, yes just 10, so you can see my dilemma.
But hopefully someone sees my potential and takes a punt on me and helps me with my game. If I’m lucky enough, one of the 10 ten games I play will be a bigger one so I can at least try and get a coach to work with me.
My bankroll at present is roughly $1600 in total across 3 sites, PokerStars (which I tend to avoid because of the large fields) 888 & PartyPoker. I don’t really trust any other site just yet, but Microgaming is a possibility I guess and Ipoker in the future.
I know this is a long hello, but I like everyone to know the full me. I do not lie and everything I’ve said can be proved if needed.
I don’t know if my game is good bad or lucky because no one has ever given me one to one before. I can’t afford a coach just yet, but if and once I can afford one I have no problem working with one. I want to take my game to the highest I can with my disability and who knows, maybe that’s the start of my journey by joining PokerStrategy.
Time for a sleep again......
Thanks for reading to the bottom.

Ps. I’m 99% no limit player and I can play cash from anything as low as 1/2c right up to $2/$4 but getting my BR back I’m probably a 5/10c player moving up when I have a bigger BR.
I can play sit n gos upto $5 again until I can move up and Mtts buy ins up to $7.50 at present and again a lot higher if and when my BR will allow.
Bank Roll Management was my number 1 rule I never broke. I will not play games that I am not BR for or I feel uncomfortable playing.
