It will be hard to make >€10/hour with poker unless you master the software. You need to love both the technical stuff and the variance if you wish a healthy loving relationship with poker instead of what seems a toxic relationship now.

Can't Homer help you with the tech? :f_confused:

can you tell me where is that option in hm2 to see those hand, is it just for cash games or for tournaments too?
thank you :)

Sure! Here it is - click the colored grid and then change the tab at the top of the pop-up to "hand count" By default it shows bbs/won with each hand (which is probably more important than hand count since you can try to look at what hands you could have played differently). Be aware that filters apply so if you want to see all the hands maybe you should be in the "Overall" tab or it will only show certain tournament(s) you have selected and such (you can use it to check specifics if you want the opposite of what I just said, of course). GL and ask me further if you want as this explanation sounds a bit messy xD

thank you so much :)

Don't worry, this blog has been hijacked many times for much more trivial reasons in the past. :f_biggrin:

Tony, I don´t care how much I make per hour, I´m not a pro, I don´t make a living on poker. I have my income even though of course some nice pocket money from poker would be fine. :f_biggrin:

But yes, Homer can help me with technical stuff, he always does all the the technical things.

Zyvy: no prob!

These poor people are sadly deluded. They have no chance.

I'd hate it if it weren't the least unpleasant way of putting bread on the table, you know.

It´s an interesting, competitive and fun hobby for me. I love the competitive nature of MTTs and the brain teasing of CG. We cannot compare apples with pears now. Whether poker is your daily bread of just a fun hobby: That´s a huge difference.

There are plenty of intellectual games out there without monetary pressure and yet with fierce competition, like Hearthstone and chess. Why do you choose poker, where only 'serious stakes' real money games are challenging enough?

Whatever ....

the reason is why you play poker: There´s no point in crying over losses. Now let´s concentrate on BR-rebuilding! _thumbsup:

Exactly! Crying is not fun, so focus on having fun instead! It's just a game :f_drink:

Something else...

Indeed crying or whatever doesn´t help. Anyways, I decided to take a break from MTTs. Will play something else instead. Why? To avoid any tilt or avoid any bad play, to pull myself together and find new strength to play them. I´m tired of loosing and loosing and need to clear my head. So, I will focus on other formats for the next time like CG, maybe will play occasionally an SnG or DON? Don´t know. But: I need something else at the moment!

I need something which is not so swingy. I need a nice side-format besides the MTTs cause grinding MTTs only can be extremely demotivating and demoralizing when you have a longer bad run..... it would do me good to win even 1€! At the moment I would be thankful for every Euro I win.

No I´m not such a big fan of large swings especially not a fan of long bad runs :f_ugly:

Played a couple of DONs today :f_ugly: - - just to have finally a little winning session. Indeed: won 2€! Already very thankful for that little winning.
