Hey all - it's been a while!
First order of business is the GG Masters... this $400 buyin event takes place this week here in Ireland. I qualified for $5 and am really, really, really, really, really looking forward to it. It will be my first live event since the Betfair Live Open Event in Cork in 2012 which coincidentally I qualified for a $5 too ♦ Although, I didn't cash in that Main Event, I did pick up a $80 bounty which I then used to buy in to the $60 side event which I eventually chopped for $1.4K!
Would definitely take the same again this time around.....

Next news is that I will be celebrating my 100th stream on Twitch next Wednesday. Stream will begin at 8pm (sorry Collin) and as part of the celebration there will a $100 freeroll! So nice to read that at least you are successfully grinding MTTs. As for me: I decided to return to STT-grinding for mostly practical reasons. But if I said that I can cope with variance in MTTs - that would be a big fat lie! 
Congrats on the anniversary and the qualification! Revise live MTT strat as much as you can and crush the target!

I suggest to think about variance in terms of hourly winrates, not in terms of BIs. You can earn more EV in one €1 MTT with less variance and about as many decisions on average as in two $5.50 DoNs or two $3.50 9-mans. Ultimately, though, the decision on what to play comes down to where you have the biggest edge or fun (which are actually often correlated)... (Sorry for threadjacking.)
The decision doesn´t only come down to where I have the biggest edge or fun but also which format fits best into my life (question of time).
