Playing $1/2 no limit at casino. Up about $170 at beginning of hand. On the button with KJ off. Position 3 raised to $7. I re-raise to $12. A couple of callers. Flop is K-10-7c. Check to me, I bet $20. Two callers. Turn is 4c. Check to me. I bet $25. One caller, position 1 who is known to be a gambler. River is 6c. Gambler goes all in for about $140. I folded. He shows 3-3. Thoughts?

the main problem i see is that you probably won't pay attention to betsizing.
first of all: you min 3bet preflop to 12$ after a quite high open raise. min raising or min 3betting is rarely a good idea, you barely have fold equity to lessen your opponents, you can't bluff people out, and you barely get more value when doing it with a value hand. as for the actual hand, KJo is a decent hand but certainly not a great hand, but since you're playing IP i think calling is fine, however if you insist on 3betting then make it somewhere between 18-22.
also you mention a couple of callers, which also looks like you haven't payed attention to the pot size and the amount of callers, which will be relevant to your betsizing on the flop. since you're on the BTN and you only mentioned position 3 which i assume would be like middle position? or if you count the blinds maybe UTG? i assume maybe the blinds called after so it would be a 4 way pot? besides if you meant UTG when you mentioned position 3 i would probably already fold the KJo preflop since you're doomed to be dominated quite often.
as for the flop: if it's indeed 4 way then there is 48$ in the pot, i think betting 20$ is fine here because it's a fairly dry board and you want worse players to come along
turn: right now there is 88$ in the pot, which makes 25$ a very small bet. if you feel confident after two callers i would bet about 40-45, that way you get strange draws out of the way and if someone slowplays he probably drops the bomb now for being OOP, they might call as well of course, but thats one of the risks of betting here. the other option (and imo the best option) is to check behind, that way you can control the pot instead of losing your entire stack just with 1 pair and mediocre kicker. you might aslo get bluffed on the river which you can usually call.
river: this is a tough one, in general lines the fold was right, however you mentioned he is a gambler. so it's hard to give the right advise as it kinda depends on how much you see him make this kind of actions. simply said if he does this almost every hand you can easily call, but when this is the first time you cought him going all-in then you did right to fold, so anything in between is something you can best figure out for yourself as it depends on your own read. simply said if he plays like that too often then you could call

Whats with the betsizing?
The fold seems OK, you dont want to risk your stack with a top pair and a nota so good kicker, unless you know the villain does this all the time.
Thanks for your in depth reply. I think your assessment is right on. In my experience though at this casino, a $7 preflop raise scares no one. $10-15 raises preflop are common. So play there is generally loose. After having some time to think more about the hand, the player in the 1 position showed ultra-agressive, near reckless tendencies throughout the session - playing a lot of hands and throwing big bets at the pot. For this reason, I should've called. Nevertheless, I agree with your suggestions on betsizing and will be working to incorporate into my game. Thanks!
