Later in the evening most tables only have 3 or 4 players.
Disadvantage is that there is no table selection.

Although I do play there, I would avoid Bovada, too. Global Poker, BetOnline, WPN, Horizon - Lots of US/Asian players and I think you'll be happy.

Absolutely. It's anonymous poker which a) takes away valuable information we use to exploit villain b) attracts bots to the network en masse and c) just overall removes transparency. When you combine this with the fact that Ignition/Bovada doesn't have a licensed RNG (they don't have a gaming license of any kind), I definitely consider it the worst option for a US player.
I really enjoy Ignition. At micro stakes full ring, I can find the maximum allowed four tables at normal US hours. I play a lot between 12 AM and 3 AM. Depending on the day of the week, I can find at least one but sometimes three to four tables during those lower traffic hours. I decided not to play at Americas Card Room because according to pokerscout.com, Ignition has more traffic. I use to play at Carbon Poker but its traffic is quite low now. Ignition seems to be an excellent choice for American players. I also much prefer Full Ring where I am a winning player. I have a horrible large negative bb/100 at short hand poker. I am going to have to work on my short hand game.

I actually prefer anonymous poker. I always doubted my ability to use my Poker Tracker Heads Up display to make wise decisions. I know many players are excellent in using that information. However, when I switched to Ignition because the action dried up at Carbon, I found it relaxing to not view the HU information. I simply focus on making sound strategic poker decisions. For me, the HU display distracted me from playing better poker.
