Well, I was not defending my blinds at all at this table for a longer period. Suddently, I saw a perfect squeeze situation and I did not care about my hand. However, I did not notice that shorty was involded and only after I was called by him, I realized that this was not a good spot for squeeze because of shorty.

But it happened and I had to play this hand. Flop, however, absolutely missed me but likely missed shorty as well. I would c-bet here for $12 even if I hit so it is either shove or fold. Can I shove here profitably?

wow , way to get into sucky spot

I`m not really sure about the maths here but I think it isn`t profitably to shove here. Shorty has less than potsize left so if he has anything at all of that flop he will call you. So you FE is not as high as to balance your actual equity when you get called.

If he does not have a pair, he hit 1 of 3 times. So if I am 2 times sucessfull, I win 2/3*18,5 and lose 1/3*$14 = +EV.

And he migh fold a small pocket as well.

But well, I am asking about this spot :)

Every broadway made at least a gutshot and I`m guessing he will go with that a lot of the times. Might fold a small pp tho. Not sure anyway , curious about judge`s opinion

Would cbet smaller: 11$ (keep your bluffs cheap) + its perfect size to shove turn (if you have a real hand).

you cant squeeze with 82o OOP :f_cool:

the cc is fish so I c-bet 1/2 of pot or c/f

I´d prefer fold pf, as you mentioned because of shortstack and also you have 82o
Putting him all-in is fine, he´d fold often enough

As I said. Preflop was a mistake. I did not defent at that table at all and I noticed a squeeze situation (steal + coldcall). But I did not notice that one of villains is a shortstack :(
