First things first:
DISCLAIMER: Term GTO is misleading, this thread is about exploring solver-based strategy which is NOT GTO. GTO just sounds better than something else.
Background
I have played Small Stakes PLO for a loooooong time, and my strategy has always been to exploit the opponents. At Small Stakes there are a lot of very extreme players, and only a really small portion of players will actually ever adjust to anything Hero does. And it has been working out pretty well.
Solvers came couple of years ago and started to change the PLO world. And a lot of people started to play with solver-based strategies, more or less. At Small Stakes things didn't change much, but at PLO50+ the level of regs started to go up a little.
To have success at PLO50+ it would be good to understand solver-based strategy. It has been something I have been thinking a lot. And now it's time to do it!
What to expect?
In this thread I will share my one month journey to solver world. I got myself some help in forms of PLO Matrix, PLO Visions and Jnandez Mastermind. If everything goes as planned, after the month I should have good idea of how solver wants to play and why, and then reflect that to Small Stakes and highly exploiting strategy I have used so far.
Along the way there will be a lot of live streams, where I try to implement solver strategy to tables, some Youtube videos about some important topics and posts about everything in this thread.
When?
I will have a short break from everything at the beaches of Spain, and will start this thing at the start of June.
